It's just another scion that tries to look cool but isn't.

There isn't anything more performance oriented about it compared to other tCs.

Scion Announces Pricing for tC Release Series 6.0, Will Debut at the 2010 Chicago Auto Show

TORRANCE, Calif., Feb. 8, 2010 -- Scion announced today that its latest limited-production vehicle, the 2010 tC Release Series 6.0 (tC RS 6.0), will begin arriving in dealerships in March. The tC RS 6.0 will be on display in the Scion booth at the Chicago Auto Show, February 10-21, 2010.

The tC RS 6.0 comes painted in a vivid Speedway Blue that is currently not offered on any other Scion model. The eye-catching exterior is complemented with a unique matte-black vinyl graphic that flows along the beltline and features the RS 6.0 logo on the rear quarter panel.

Adding to the coupe's sporty character, the bright blue motif is carried over to the RS 6.0's seats and steering wheel. Front and rear seats boast color-tuned surfaces – black fabric with blue highlights – and the leather-wrapped steering wheel comes finished with blue stitching.

The tC RS 6.0 features an Alpine Premium Audio system with navigation that is flashed with a sound curve unique for the RS 6.0's acoustics and includes a 4.3-inch touch screen, iPod®/USB connectivity, 200 watts of output, RCA output connections, and HD RadioTM technology. The navigation system consists of flash-based global positioning satellite (GPS) navigation, turn-by-turn voice guidance, a three-dimensional map view option, and a tC RS 6.0 route-guidance icon.

Only 1,100 units of the tC RS 6.0 will be built, and each vehicle comes with a unique, individually numbered stainless-steel badge. The tC RS 6.0 model will carry a manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) of $18,620 with a manual transmission, and $19,420 with an automatic transmission.

The delivery, processing and handling (DPH) fee for all Scion models is $670 and is not included in the MSRP. DPH fee for vehicles distributed by Southeast Toyota (SET) and Gulf States Toyota (GST) may vary.

On February 16, visit the official Scion Release Series Facebook page at facebook.com/scionreleaseseries and "Get Inside the tC Release Series." Using Facebook Connect, visitors will be treated to a personalized virtual ride culminating into a 360-degree experience at Scion's most recent dubstep event.

yea, theres nothing special about this 6.0 rs, just that 1100 were made in this color. previously the 5.0 had a bunch of trd stuff, this one doesnt have anything, just audio and color. its only like $600 more than a normal tc. and no its not a 6.0 v6 lol

so it's loaded up with a bunch of ****, thus making it slower than tc's already are....

next time they wanna pass it off as a 6.0, it better come with an LS2

they really need to redesign the tc. maybe throw in a turbo and rwd.

rwd would make it a different class. they want to target kids and entry level buyers...

But they need to do something about that weak power plant. They coulda given in the old celica motor...they put out like 180hp right or was that the corolla?

A turbo would wake this car up. It's a 2.4 I wonder why it doesn't make that much power...

this is how they must come stock..only turbo and rwd.

the tc going to rwd would eat up ft-86 sales...if it ever comes out

i think i saw an update from autoblog saying its pushed back from 2011 to 2013 now... who knows lol

but i think making the scion faster/better looking/RWD or AWD would not fly with Toyota. They need to keep the price point right where its at so kids can afford them and have some money left over to unite their individuality haha

That paint job looks more suitable for a Challenger/Charger than a Tc..

maybe its not for you guys and i know its not a car for me but its for the younger people who want an affordable yet somewhat stylish and sporty car with lots of aftermarket support. to me a scion tc is a girls car but im not gonna say its a horrible car. just not for me. although ive seen some that i would definitely drive. ill take a tc over a honda civic anyday tho.

I'm in the upper (actually over) the target Scion demographic and I actually like my 05 RS1 tC--I only bought the RS1 because it is the only tC in a bright red paint job, though the Enkeis & semi useless Hotchkis front strut bar are nice touches too. I like the styling (sort of euro-esque...for a Japanese car at least), the price was good and it isn't a terrible performer. I've tracked mine three times (Watkins Glen twice and Pocono East once...and it will see Pocono North this summer if I don't have something else before then) and every time it surprises others on the track with it's composure--they all assume it will be a rolling road block, but it isn't always.

The RS5 was a nice package with the TRD brakes and suspension. All the other RSs are just stereo enhancements and paint jobs.

Would the tC be better if it had a turbo? A RWD layout? A different power plant? Sure. But it would also be a different car/price/target audience.

In regards to the tC being a "girl's car:" WTF does that mean? I've never understood how that applies to any car...well maybe for a pink Fiat 500.

A girl's car is a car that a lot of girls drive or want, or refer to as "aww it's so cute".

Other cars that fall into this category?
RSX
06+ Civic
Celica
Mini
Forte

more like Toyota customers don't know how to find neutral.
