FordMoCo is re-tooling everything. Adding vehicles to Lincoln and stopping production of Mercury in the fourth quarter of 2010.

The only somewhat fun car Mercury produced in recent memory was the Marauder...crazy to think though, that we lost so many brands over the past decade.

There were rumers that GM was gonig to re-badge it as a Chevy Caprise and sell it. I know there are cop car ideas of it but not sure if it ever went into production or not.

Being co-owner of a 1965 Mercury Cyclone, I can tell you they havent made much of anything worthwhile since the 5.0 Capri in the mid 80s....and even those werent the best....from 64-71, they made some sick cars with very strong motors....however, this demise should have been done a LONG time ago...dont know why Ford kept them around as long as they did...

Why all the hate? My 88 cougar is one of the best cars I have ever owned.

"Another one bites the dust-ahh"
As long as GM, Ford, Subaru and VW keep truckin' i don't care.
