That was definitely a heavy call-out. I like how that guy says he runs a 10.3 on those tires. mm hmmmmm

Being a previous owner of a LS1, it is possible to go 10.3 all motor with heads and cam, but not on street tires. The only way I can see him catching any traction is if he has an automatic and feathers it, but than it wouldn't be going 10.3. I believe from the news report, he had a 6 speed, there are way too many traction issues with stock F-Bodies. I am guessing he means street tire as in drag radial, which are street legal, so it indeed is a street tire. Maybe with the new Mickey Thompson drag radials, but they weren't out when this was done and I know damn well no drag radial is going to hold with a 10 second car very well.
