If I get some people willing to SERIOUSLY go in this with me I'll enter the raceway park. I don't think I have any direct friends capable of doing this.

I'm looking at the Englishtown race in November. I've changed my training these past few weeks to just kind of feel up if I can get ready for this or not by then.
Also, I think they just recently held one at Bear Creek. Anyone enter or have any insight!? I know one guy who did it, but I haven't had the chance to talk to him yet about it.

my brother is the park crew manager at BC and is a year round employee who does all of the maintenance and fab work for the features (rails, etc.) at BC during the summer months. he and the maintenance guys built all of the tough mudder obstacles and features. he was trying to get me and my friends to do the TM course but none of my friends wanted to do it. i heard it was a great time though, i would definitely do it if it was at BC again since it's 15 minutes from my house lol. i'm not really all about going to NJ to do it though.

I talked to a guy that did the last bear creek one at a buds bbq. He said it was intense. I'm down to do the englishtown one. It'll give me something to work for all summer. I'll prolly do it regardless but is there anyone else doing it on here?

you can register all the way up until Nov. 13th, a week before the event. the active registration right now is the $120 one, but technically today is the first day of the $140 registration. if anyone is planning on registering, do it before they update the site so you can save $20.

looks cool! i saw the pictures on facebook that BC posted up looked like a good time.....
my only beef is..."The toughest one day endurance event on the planet"
Sorry but crawling around in the mud and doing those obstacles while im sure is absolutely exhausting, very challenging, and very competative - It doesn't have **** on the Enduro at Erzberg.
check it out: 1,500 people enter, normally about 10 people finish. (last year actually 30 people finished, but they are the best riders on the planet)

You know what's funny? I didn't realize the entry fee was so damn expensive! I'm still debating whether or not I want to do it right now but now I get to put that into the mix. Need to make sure I can afford it too.

that's why i said i wasn't going to drive to NJ for it lol. it's $150-ish for registration, $40-ish in gas to E-town, and maybe... i dunno, $100 for a night in a hotel? there's no way i'm driving back after that event, especially considering how much alcohol would obviously be consumed afterward. haha. there's no doubt that it would be a fun time, but i'm not all about spending $300 to run in some mud.
