Here are the slips. this is a pump gas, street trim run. half tank of gas, full weight car. we were granny shifting because we didnt want to break it. we feel as is just with a little race gas we can get it down to about 7.6's or so...

on pump ;)

I have a built 2.3L + built tranny + upgraded diff going in...11's are not far away...and if i wanted, I could just add race gas now and hit 11's...

ps...to give you an idea..the car thats running 7.5xx...is an 02-04 supercharged/worked z06 vette...it has about 600hp. drag slicks...whole nine yards. that was the only car out there that was close to my times (that was still streetable)

Gotta run the 1/4 to truely know. As longas your car keeps pulling hard up top then you should be good to go.

to give you an idea, my friend with a 2g ran 7.8 at 88mph with the same mods on race gas with a 1.6 60foot on the same track...so my 3mph up top on PUMP gas..really tells me alot about my car and the setup i have. my car spins 1st gear and 2nd on the street (yes its allwheel drive) its a beast..im adding the extrude honed intake manifold soon as well...the reason why i didnt run the 1/4 yet is because until i get the trans/diff built, 120miles is a long tow bill to rack up...so i'll wait til the car is ready to go. the shifter is a bit worn out making shifts sloppy, and since we aren't banging gears, we have alot left in her. this was just to see what it runs on the street.

What kinda boost are you running to get 600 whp out of a EVOIII 16G  ?

its not the boost etc. a supercharged z06 with cam, headers...blah blah blah..so i exaggerated...maybe its 550whp lol...that kid has alot of cash. if you look he's trapping 99mph, im only trapping 91...that means if he's a good driver his car is pretty damn quick. my slow car...nah i only have about 350-375whp. on about 20psi...i just had a good driver thats all. no prob, i'll get 1/4 times, but not for a little while. I dont think this engine swap thing is going to happen over night ;)

no prob, but you figure in comparison from a supercharged z06 with mods to a evoIII 16G dsm, On only pump gas/full weight, and taking it easy on the shifter down the track..he doesn't get me by that much...and that was his best run of the night.

I like to compare higher dollar vehicles to it...

like last night I was out with a caddi CTS-V and it had some mods on it, I wouldnt drive the car, but someone else wanted to drive it. the cts would only do a 2nd gear roll...on the track of course, and after it was all done, the only thing the cts-v could say was...blah blah blah..excuse excuse excuse..."down in miami everyone has big turbos because we start from 60mph" my response..thats because you can't drive from a dig ;)
ps...he also said an evoIII turbo wouldnt hold 25 or 30psi...and all this other garbage...i was like...yes, thats right, you read the internet for a living...good job!
Awww his pride was hurt!
