So I sold my SRT a couple of weeks ago (to a member here) and have been DDing the Supra.... I've been searching and searching for a new DD, and I finally found one. I'll be picking it up this Thursday. Pics to come. I'm very excited about it :)

Thanks! Paintjob is definitely not that good. There are a couple rust spots on the hatch. Overall very very clean.

Finally had time to attack a nice mountain road by me last night and it was awesome. The car is definitely slow in a straight line, but handling is nice. I didn't feel as secure compared to my stock suspensioned Supra, but I didn't push it to the edge either. I probably just need more seat time to learn the limits...

The more I research the car though, the more I'm a little scared of a few things, mainly the oiling issues. The RB series is just not as good as the JZ. I guess I may need to order another motor and work on beefing it up before something catastrophic happens... crossing my fingers...

I may have to beef up my ignition system and change the maf to a 300ZXTT one....

Well, the more I read about it, the less scared I am. It seems like the people having the oil pump problems are also revving the **** out of them. I'm planning on doing a minor build on the 240sx~ 270-300whp.

I would love to do a coilover setup on the Soup- maybe this winter

And getting engaged earlier this year and getting married next year has put a huge dent in my modding budget lol.

Little update. Been researching a lot about this car. And I think I'm ready to start.

Project: Budget RB25 S13
Cost: <<$2000
Power Goal: 300whp
Purpose: Introductory road racing vehicle
Tuning: To be done by myself and a friend

Parts list
1. Standalone- Nistune (talking to company, ironing out details)
2. Wideband- AEM UEGO (purchased)
3. Downpipe- CX Racing
4. Oil Cooler- CX Racing?
5. Oil temp gauge- Autometer
6. Gauge pod- ???

Optional:
1. FFIM
2. Manifold
3. Turbo (bolt on?)
4. Grippier Rear tires

Will update once I get started. I'm planning on going on my first HPDE with my buddy (2009 Boxster S) later this summer. Hopefully to at least have the oil cooler and temp gauge installed by then.

Seriously? Does it come with the R154 trans? I also have the RB25 ECU... If it was winter time, I would have seriously considered it since I know my way around JZ motors. And they seem to be built better than an RB...

Maybe he just might want to trade cars? I like the S chassis, but I'd rather have a 1J in it!

He was gonna pick up another sr, but this may strike his interest. I'll give him a call and if hes interested ill PM you his number.

Oh... that sucks (for me). I don't think I can afford a JZ swap either lol. If if wanted to trade cars with a little cash on top (from me), I would have done it. The oiling issues are scaring me a little bit on the RBs.

NA Z32 ECU and AEM UEGO are here. Should have a nicely running 240 in a few weeks :)

Still need to figure out if there is any way to mount an oil pressure, oil temp, and wideband in the dash itself or on a single din space under the radio... I already have a 2 gauge pod on the A-pillar.

Just got my Nistune from Autovaughn performance, and will be looking to install it soon. I'm also in the process of getting a custom exhaust/downpipe from a place local....

Also debating on just straight up selling the car for $7500...I need something more comfortable for daily duties and after getting a 3" exhaust, I don't know how "appropriate" it is to drive to work...

Tried to sell the car this year, but no go. All I received were crazy offers for trade. Surprisingly, not many lowball offers. I started the price at $8K, and finally lowered it to $6K, yet no one wanted it. It was cheaper than most other SR and KA-T swapped cars, but hell I figured I don't want to take any more of a loss so it looks like I'm keeping her for a little while. During this time, I've done a lot of random fixes to it. Also prepped it for winter. I'm getting my mod list figured out for next year.

Things accomplished:
1. Remote start stopped working- fixed it :)
2. Installed windshield washer pump and reservoir
3. New studded snow tires on 15" aluminum wheels- Tire Rack
4. Fixed weird clunk/rattle in the back

Now shopping around for a downpipe and a 3" single canister exhaust. Once I get these things, the wideband is getting wired in and the Nistune is getting installed. Tuning should then commence.

Goal of 275-300whp with a budget of $1500. It may be a little over since I'm looking at my list, it's not looking too good haha. May have to resort to some quality used items.

Downpipe
Exhaust
Oil Pressure Gauge
Oil Temperature Gauge
Greddy oil adapter with thermostat
Oil cooler (kit?)

Probably come after the Supra is done (700whp capable fuel system) and recover from Christmas's expenditures.

Need to make this a track car soon. My new race helmet has yet to be used!

It's a Snell 2010, so it should be good for at least 10 years :) Car need reliability mods before it's ready to be tracked. Soon enough, though!
