I sent my Turbonetics T3/T04E 57 trim to them a few weeks ago to get some work done it so I could bolt it up to the stock exhuast manifold and have a 4bolt pattern for the O2 housing. While the had it they P&P both housings inspected the bearings and rebalanced the turbo. Here is some pics of the work. I'll post back on the preformance once I get it installed hopefully next weekend. I would also like say that Brandon at www.turbo-concepts.com is very knowlageable and did keep me informed about the delay that they had in getting the new housing in some thing that I realy liked.

Be careful you don't suck squirrels and rabbits into that thing. They are kinda messy.

Looking good. Im interested how your car will turn out. What else you plan on running?
How much did the whole job on the turbo cost rebalancing and all that?

Its a baby turbo! 4" inlet or more is the way to go ;-)

Just out of curiosity, why did you go with the 57 trim since its actually a little smaller (airflow wise) than the ever popular 50 trim?

Care to list the rest of your mods, or link to them somewhere?

I was originally going to go with that turbo, but it's too small for my goals and application.

Have fun with it. :p It's definitely a great hybrid.

To be honest it was the turbo that I had on my SpecV and it was just laying around the house. Here is the to the rest of my mods: http://www.tristatetuners.com/forum/vbgarage.php?do=view&id=997

What turbo is that T-88?

I don't know, it was just the largest turbo that popped up in google pic search.

I couldn't pass up the joke.

That is certainly not me or my turbo, but I sure am proud of the guy.

I think it is a "thumper"

Which FP turbo is that? Without seeing the front, it's nearly impossible to distinguish between the three popular models. I'm going to guess its the 3065 based on the size of the turbine wheel.

PS. Guess which I have: http://people.clemson.edu/~nanthon/gsx/turbo/IMG_0226.JPG

Not a bad list. Looks like you're going to need a clutch and flywheel pretty soon. Let me know when you do, I have a 7 bolt Fidanza laying around.

I probably have some other parts you may be interested in if I look around.

Do you already have the install kit for the turbo for a DSM (feed, drain, etc?). If not, I have a spare set of them also.

I have the Greddy oil filter adappter for the feed and I have a fitting from my spec V turbo kit for the fed. I think I'm going with the ACT fly wheel but I'm not sure on the clutch yet ACT 2900lbs w/street disc, ACT 2600 lbs w/6 puck disc, or Spec stage 3. How much do you want for the fly wheel and what kind of shape is it in?

You're not going to need a clutch that aggressive unless you are hell on clutches. I had a 2600 and street disk in my car with around 200 drag passes and over 20k of street driving, running 11.7's at 120mph and it still held strong. I only replaced it because I had the motor out of the car. The pressure plate is actually still going strong in a friends 1G.

Make me an offer on the flywheel, it's just collecting dust in my garage. I wish I had gone with a Fidanza this time around as I liked that flywheel a lot better than the ACT I have now.

I've seen too many people run the ACT 2600 deep into the 11s. Going with something heavier is asking for trouble. And I would stay away from the 6 puck. I use to have one in my car. I'm sure you heard of a lot of people complain that it is noisy, grabby, chatters a lot, rough on the tranny, may potentially cause problems to the crank, etc. I can certainly attest to the fact that is is noiy, grabby, and chatters a lot. I eventually learned how to slip it. Still not worth the risks and problems associated with it when I've been more than happy with my currect ACT 2600 and street disc setup.

I have been reading on DSM tuners that the ACT have been giving out quick lately. That is why I was looking at the Spec stage III
