and im gonna get my friends at work to take it too, we're all freshies...Thanks! Detail is very useful :). I need it for a 12:15 class wednesday, just so you know if you're going to pass it on.

Anyway, it's for a writing class and specifically for an in class essay on weds. My prof wrote the survey and gave it to the class. We discussed in class how (most) schools here are waayy easy, and basically it results in people who are a bit lazy, I guess, and don't know their subject as well as they could. Especially compared to other countries, where school is f'n RIGOROUS. IIRC they have class from like 9-5, live on campus, and when out of class, they do homework, and also have very high standards to meet, which results in them knowing the subjects extremely well.

To be honest, I didn't pay a ton of attention to the discussion, so that's all I can tell ya. I guess I fit into the typical US student. I'm lazier than I'd like to admit, and generally do the bare minimum. Based on results I've gotten so far, I'm not the only one.

edit: I'm going to assume you're Tyler. I just read your survey, you sound EXACTLY like me. The answers to #8 and #10 especially hit home.
