Aren't Camarobird fenders the same way?
And it looks like the occupant area looks intact, and relatively solid.

I don't think F-bods are 100% plastic with those types of crumple zones.

And the occupant area has tons of reinforced steel all over the inside to keep it from crushing as best it can.

I'm looking for the pics of my friends car that hydroed into an 80's F150, spun around, got boned by a Maxima, spun some more and then got slammed by a Sentra.

He didn't have a good day, but the car didn't look AS bad as most cars would have.

I first hand that the F-body only has the plastic font bumper. My Girl Totaled one and the fenders were metal.

At least some part of a Camaro is plastic, I know I have seen them cracked, rear quarter perhaps....?
And i just realized I should have been more specific, the 93 and up F bodies.
