Well its going to be in the 80's this weekend and I for one am going to take advantage of it. I know a damn good red level trail up in the water gap on the jersey side.
The hike is about 2 hours long each way and it is composed of dirt trails, mild rock climbing, and its all marked by red dots on trees within line of sight.
About half way up there is a natural water spring that comes from rocks. This spring has the BEST tasting, cleanest water that I have ever had. It comes directly out of rocks and its deliciously salty.
There is a scenic vista overlooking the water gap at the top of the hike. Its beautiful and you can climb out on the rocks and overlook the whole area.
I'm going with Rista regardless, but if anyone else wants to come speek up and We can meet at TCNJ (The College of New Jersey) Its about an hour drive with a pit stop at hot dog jonnys outside...
Whos up for some nice fresh air, mountain spring water, and beautiful scenery?
