Ok guys, my engine is ticking and its pretty annoying what r somethings to do to rid my ticking away,i have a blown head gasket and rebuilding the head isnt a problem....since its already coming off

I would like to know if anyone has used and crower/skunk2 high compression cams...preferably one that doesn't require any mods to the stock head aka milling, shaving etc etc....lmk

lol.... you can make power on those kits.... keep in mind that they dont come with the fuel system \ tuning that you will need....

Ive seen plenty of those kits make 200hp+ on a D series motor

Also dont expect everything to fit perfect...

Custom turbo kit > ebay turbo kit.

This might be the most retarded thread of the year

list of retarded-ness factors:
wtf are you saying?
why would you put on an ebay turbo kit, esp on a z6?
what are the chances that someone on here knows what a z6 motor can handle boost wize?
and most importantly, WHYYYY for only 20hp? Just buy an exhaust. BOOM! done.

but on the upside, i can almost guarantee you the motor can handle an extra 20hp.

Don't expect anything to fit rite, the manifold to crack, the turbo to self destruct, and to still need to buy other things to complete the project. I can not speak on actual personal truth (only cause i'd never cheap on a turbo kit), but i have had some close friends go this route and def paid for it over time and regretted it. Now there has been some "success" stories with ebay kits, but why waste the money and time & risk it? If your already posting questions like this you def have more to learn and probably shouldn't be getting involved with a such a project. I understand everyone needs to start somewhere and learn but jus research more and figure out whats really worth it in the long run.

I wouldn't run a different cam without some sort of engine management. That much extra air= need extra fuel. For the amount of money you would spend to do this the right way, your better off with a B series swap.
