Welcome! Enjoy your visit here. This place is full of interesting characters, lol. There are a lot of nice cars on here, too.
I've always wanted to get a Miata til recently when I test drove a 91 and realized I don't fit well in them anymore, lol. Actually, I test drove a new mazda speed miata last year, too and it felt a bit tight, lol.

What year miata??? Their nice cars. I like to think of them as the Rx7's little brother.
And you can eaisily cure the slowness.(Booooooooooooooooooost)

Slowness brigade unite. Welcome aboard. This is the first Miata that I can think of that is of the vast automotive representation. They are truly a blast to drive. I've driven a 97 and an 06. If I could get away with having a second and more practical car, id be in Miata country in a heartbeat.

i like that color on your car!!
Thanks. Now its not a special edition per se, it is rather limited in its numbers, only 644 made it to US soil.
evo orange registry (http://www.allroadster.com/libs/EORegister.htm)
With only 644 units produced for the U.S. that makes the Evolution Orange far rarer than any of the other Special, Limited or M-Editions that Mazda has produced.
So i rarely ever see another one on the road. Actually since I bought it i've only seen 2 in person. One driving in my town and another on a dealer lot.
I like the color due to its rariety. Some people love it, some hate it, either way after a drive in it they do like the car though.

Actually what you see on them that is shiny is only a chrome ring that snaps on. It would probably fit any steel rim. I bought the rims-snow tires as a set from another miata owner and they were already on their.
I would love to autocross it, mabey sometime this summer ill go.
It does handle pretty well. I ride on falken azenis in the warmer months. I have the first gen azenis on my summer wheels but they are pretty much bare. I might get the azenis again, however since they became more popular the price went up. At least I heard they grip a little better.

actually I heard that the newer Azenis RT-615s had a softer side wall. I'm not sure how much I would like that, but they can't be nearly as heavy as the old style RT-215s.

Just recently, the 615's are starting to go down in price. Grassroots Motorsports ran a tire test and the 615's were an overall better tire than the 215's.
