This past weekend a 2009 Nissan 370Z in White Pearl snuck into the garage, I have to start locking the doors around here! The car arrived "driven" which is my way of saying dirty, in a good sense, so the prep started right away. After the prep, the body did show a good bit of swirls and micro marring, nothing tragic though, and the paint had consistent readings from the mid-high 80s to the 120s. Not the thickest, but not horrible either. The pictures will speak for themselves on the process of the detail and what was covered, Mikhael and I rather enjoyed this car as it was enjoyable to work on and we got a lot of gloss out of the pearl paint.

Process:

Menzerna 203 - Orange
Menzerna 106ff - Green
P21S Paint Cleanser
Jetseal 109

Exhaust:
P21S Polishing soap
P21S Finish Restorer

Wheels:
P21S Gel Wheel Cleaner
Swissvax brushes
Rejex Sealant

Trim:
Poorboy's Natural Look - Exterior and interior trim

Chicken Parmesean Sandwhiches and Fruit punch - Energy

Quick overall shot of the car, and some other pics of it as it arrived.

looks sick, what is the process on the wheels?

Oakes

Thanks guys!

The wheel process is pretty much as follows

P21S Wheel Gel, or Diablo Wheel Gel - spray on - let soak for a minute or two.
Rinse off - If it needs to be broken down more, spray again and then rinse after a little more time.
Using Swissvax brushes and the EZ-Detail wands for the barrels agitate the wheels
Get the calipers, lug holes, spoke corners, everything. Have about 8 or 9 different tools for the wheels alone.
Rinse down, then dry with microfiber.
Chrome and finished wheels get polished, the wheels on this Z were in great shape so we jumped to a sealant and let dry for a few hours.
After that you can apply more sealant or pretty much done at the point.

The guy that helps you with these (more so is learning with you) drives an Accord coupe right? He's on the forums and he posted this up that he helped someone with it and I'm 99% sure it was this same Z. Think his name is Misha?

BTW - clean detail! I sent you a message on your site for a quote, any chance when you gunna get back to me?

Yes, Mischa is his username, he works with me on a lot of cars and does an awesome job. I am currently going through my emails, for some reason when I receive emails from the site, I don't get notified on my phone as I do with every other email. So with that said, I'm delayed getting back to them, but it is becoming routine now. Sorry for the delay!

It is, it's just Gmail doesn't send a notification to my phone for just the site emails, I receive them...just later on when I check it on the comp. May be a phone issue?

I want to get it set up that the emails and such are based off the domain name as opposed to being @gmail.com

can probably do that easily through godaddy. hopefully the domain being registered elsewhere won't be an issue. i'll look into that this weekend as well when i look into transferring the hosting

Sounds good to me. I just received all my old data last night, so I'll have all the albums ready to go when the gallery is ready to get set up.
