View Full Version : Hayabusa Vs Brick Wall

Our shop just towed in a 2004 Suzuki Hayabusa from an accident.
Not registered and rider fled the scene. Normally it would be nothing worth posting but this must have rolled off the assembly line on a Friday.
Looks like it hit a steel post and a brick wall.

wouldn't say he "fled" the scene more then hobbled away without anyone noticing lol

Hmm. Stolen? Just guessing cause no registration and the driver peaced. I'm sure he was hurt. How far could he have gone?

yeah seriously... police should have checked nearby hospitals for motorcycle-related injuries. If they did and came up with nothing, I'd be shocked. Although, maybe the rider flew off and landed in a tree or ontop of a building and has yet to be discovered :eek: lol

Looks like he hit a curb or something causing the front fork to buckle at the welds. Then slid... looks fixable? did the front tire push back into anything major?

Motor wise it looks fine, the guy couldnt have been hurt too bad cause he took the key.

If it ends up staying I'd like to mount the motor in the back of a ford fiesta
then chop the roof off cage it and have one quick ugly roadster.

bike is definatley totaled, they dont fix bikes with TORN frames... that front triple tree mount is part of the frame, it looks like it was totally ripped if im looking at it correctly.

Yep snapped the whole weld all the way through the frame. I may pull back some of the front to get a better look, but until the bike is ours I wont be ripping it down to much.

glad youre still living lol

That picture is pretty much my main reason as to why I dont ride motorcycles that much, unless its a dirtbike...on dirt.
