police report question

the other day, i was hit by a truck. the speed limit on the raod is 25 MPH. when the cop asked how fast i was going i said "i was maybe doing 35-40 but im not sure"
i was not given a ticket or summons of any sort for speeding, and ont he police report it says that, but it also says what i said above. the guy in the truck was the one who hit me and thats what its gonig to say on the revised report. am i at fault at all

the cop also said when i was done talking to him "i wasnt there so i dont know" talking about my speed.

i ddint know we could respond to our own threads now... anyway as u saw in my pm, ill just post it here too.

yes, i was hit in my driver side rear quater panel, i was flung around and into a jeep. his trucks bumper was pretty banged up, so its obvious he hit me and it was completly his fault.

The speed may hurt you, but you cant be ruled at fault if yow were struck form behind and flung around like that.. but dont take my word for it accident investagators may rule other wise... next time just say u were doin the speed limit..
