Please lets not turn this into a War Stories thread or a mangina measuring contest! LOL

I've had a couple coo experiences...
beat a Mustang GT with headers and exhaust (not uncommon in a completely stock SRT, but it meant something to me cause the guy was an a$$)

beat an EVO V/// (doesnt really count, the guy really didn't know how to drive it)

lost to my friends EVO V/// (he's a coo guy, works at the Deptford Mall if anyone sees a black one in the parking lot)

lost to a modified WRX (another coo guy, car was fast as shizzle. only WRX i ever lost too turbo or otherwise)

lost to a modified STi (i didn't even have a chance...LOL...one of the loudest cars i've ever heard)

lost to a modified Golf GTI (big turbo...coo guy, taught me a lot about drag racing)

lost to a modified Civic (motor swap, turbo'd, gutteded, etc...but he broke his axles his next run and i drove home. i'd rather loose and be able to drive my car home than win and pay for a tow truck...LOL)

lost to my friends SRT (one of my very good friends. he has many mroe mods than me...he's over in Iraq now. captain in the army. sucks!!! he was my racing partna!)

those are all of my memorable experiences...i've had many other races, but none of importance.

Beat a modded RSX-S (Headers, exhaust, internals)

Lost miserable to a modded silver SRT (you might be able to guess who!)

All unofficial, and on the street though.

lost to a lightly modded (i think) Trans Am from a dig when i didnt know how to launch and was stock. this was at 5500 ft. above sea level. he got a couple cars right away. then i got in my powerband and expected to start catching up, but he kept slowly pulling away  i now know that i was the underdog on that one from the start anyways...

beat a stock 6-speed 350Z from a 30mph roll when i just had a boost controller. also at 5500 ft. above sea level. hot girl driving, and it was her first loss. unfortunately i was not able to be her first anything else...

lost to my buddy's VF22 alcohol injection WRX. i had an uppipe and mbc but not much else, and again this was at altitude. he didnt really start pulling until 3rd gear though, i was surprised and happy with the outcome. that night was when i learned that it really depends on who gets the launch, because a few times i had him till about 60-70.

beat a pretty modded SE-R at sea level (last week). i now have uppipe and full exhaust plus a couple other things. he was taunting me a lot and i wasn't paying any attention to him, but after a while the road really opened up so i lost all self control. put about 2 car lengths on him from 45-85 then i hit the brakes.

thats all i can think of in the two years i've owned my car. the situation has to be just right if i'm going to be doing pulls on public roads.

People used to mess with me all the time. I just don't get too many people wanting to race anymore. Kinda makes me glad because I did some stupid things the first year or two I had my car.

Few highlights:

Beat a Turbo 240Sx (the guy was pissed as hell)

Beat a stock? SRT-4

Lost to a Dodge Ram SRT-10 ( I had no idea what it was until he whipped me)

Beat a turbo Tiburon

Beat a stock EVO VIII

Lost to a modded SVT Lightning

Lost to a turbo VR6 Corrado

Beat 2 Ford Crown Vic's with sirens and flashing lights on the roofs

I NEVER race. Or drive recklessly. Or do donuts.

Actually I have no stories. The only time I see anything is when we are in Ash's truck. SRT's, Mustangs's, other EVO's...always in the Tundra.

I have punk kids mess with me all the time, but it's just not worth it around here. Too much traffic.

Pete, you did beat a green wagon!! :rotfl:

True, that's why I don't like to race anymore. I used to be a regular down at the city street races.

Vypurr,
I know how u feel. I don't even count that as a race unless he gives me a block head start or he turns his boost down to 10psi! LOL

Beat 2 Ford Crown Vic's with sirens and flashing lights on the roofs

:rotfl:

I also lost to a WS6...I thought I had a chance cause he stopped pulling away from me after the first 60ft. But I couldn't pull him in. We just stayed the same distance apart. LOL

And I beat a Mercedes Kompressor (NOT the AMG one...LOL)
two hot chicks were in the car...maybe if I let them win I woulda had a chance.

and i raced and lost to an older lady in a BMW M5...old lady was whippin that car! we gave each other the thumbs up when it was done...LOL...reminded me why i really want an M3!

Dude...I am starting to think that you got a thing for middle-aged/old women!

I never see cool cars when I am in my SRT, only when driving my Taurus or my mom's Explorer!

That would be sweet! Maybe I should start pimping myself out to pay for car mods! It would be a win-win situation...Unless there were fat chics, they would have to pay double!

look at his 60'! That's the problem with the SRT right there!

yeah, that 60ft kills us every time! my best 60ft was a 2.243. I would love to run consistant 1.9 60 fts.

best track run for me is:
60ft- 2.243
1/4- 14.017
mph- 100.xx

once i get some traction this spring i'll be in the 13s...woohoo!

Yeah, the clutch was killing me. I trapped near 104 MPH. Clutch is done, exhaust is waiting. Should be good for high 12's. **knocks wood**

hmm my noteworthy encounters:
-1.8T jetta with GT28R turbo, TBE, injectors, ecu, whatever other supporting mods he had...from a dig, he pretty much has no chance, from a roll he pulled a car or two up to 110.

-two seperate stock(i think) new Mach 1 mustangs. I was starting behind both, so i couldnt launch, unless i wanted to park in thier trunks. I didnt loose ground up to about 80 or so for both.

-350Z in a stoplight run to about 60, and I pulled 2+ cars on him and I was running my Cobb fuel economy map at the time(cuts boost a good bit and pulls timing)

-my best encounter was a mid 80's 911 turbo. we went from a 5-10 mph roll from a stoplight, and i pulled past him in second and shut down at 65 or so with a lenght and a half or more.

i havent raced anyone in so long. i cant wait until im back on the road. my downfall is the open diff i need a limited slip god dammit. i cant get any traction. one time i was racing in philly i went through 1st 2nd and 3rd spinning them LOL! i got spanked by a sti. Then on the way back i made him my bitch from a role.

Nobody ever wants to race me
I get nothing but stupid little spats on the highway w/people who decide they wanna speed up after I start passing. They don't get far. Last thing even close to a race was a Cooper S. I wasn't even racing. I took off from the light at the 295 Junction on Black Horse pike, shifted into 2nd at ~3k and hear something revving and chirping in the left lane. I look over and see this red mini w/white stripes coming up and I just said to hell w/it and floored it. I spun through most of 2nd, but when it caught I jumped a good 5-6 carlengths in about 200'. Then missed my turn... :(

Edit: A kid here at work w/a '70 T/A and an Olds 402 (?), 403(?), I dunno, wants to race. It's a stock rear end, automatic w/a hurst shifter. We'll probly race some time soon. He said he's scared :finga:

damn sounds like your car is pretty mean. i like to screw around all the time on the streets. i race people who i know i can beat and who i know will spank me i dont care. its cool to loose and get the thumbs up though too cause they dont expect the 240 to do anything.

I like racing anything "cool". Win or lose, I just like racing.
I try not to waste time on the little crapper civics and such.

I really don't race. Gas is expensive and if I don't feel like giving you attention I'll just look away. My only loss (if you want to call it one) was to a new caddy. I paced him (I wanted to see what was on his TVs) and he drops back, paces me, and I knew what was coming. I didn't even try. One of the 1st fights I was in was when I first got the car and was at the last light on JFK Blvd and an 99' SC300 rolls up and revs. Let me clarify- 18" chromies, black tint, system, and 1 girlfriend. My friend looks at me and says, "He's not serious is he? Might as well, it's the last light." I put 2Ω-3 bus lengths on him and shutdown 3/4 down the road b/c I saw a red light coming. This guy runs the light and takes off on I-76. I would have chased, but I had to stop at the light b/c I couldn't stop laughing. I guess he was embarrassed..

Do you ever get cars that are scared of you? Sometimes I'll ride on a car's flank just so I can check it out but they get scared and turn off. Like tonight I saw a clean black CRX with holes for a wing, exhaust, and black rims, paced him for about 2 miles(miss my turn), he takes a left and pulls off.

Beat a Trans Am.
Beat a nissan spec v sentra, that was a laugh.
Out handled a cobra in & out of traffic, gota love all wheel drive!
although he blew by me later down the road on a staright away, I don't feel bad though cause he beat my old car too, A WS6 TA with 400hp. so I know it's worked to the max.

Thats about it, I don't race to much on the streets, can't afford the tickets.

AH, so nice not to have flaming for all these posts!

Anyway, I'll take my crack, my two most memorable, bar none:

About 5 years ago, coming turning onto the newtown bypass in our worked '89 Supra. A turbo 911 started passing me just as we were making the turn onto the bypass. I had the windows down and the top off. He ran real hard (you could hear) passing me. I stomped it and was past him 1/8 mile later. To this day I still remember the look on his face and his car, making it the most memorable.

Then in December, coming back from NJ, sitting at a stoplight on a 4 lane road with a Caddy SLR. My STi had just passed the 1000 mile mark on that trip and was technically broken in. He was sitting at the light first, I pulled up alongside him. At first I was going to see what he had in mind and see if he took off on green. Instead he put it in neutral and started revving like a teenager. I figured it was worth a 'launch'. That was the first real launch in the car, and my last one since. I killed me doing it but by the time I shifted into second and looked in the side-view it was like he was still sitting at the light. I shut it down at 80, but by then he was only about a carlength or two back. He came up alongside of me grinning ear to ear (good sport), and I turned onto 295 shortly thereafter.

Just last night I made a new BMW 5 series look like an ass on the blvd. He had to Sh*t himslef when his $60,000.00+ kept getting passed by my $28,000.00 STOCK VW

So I finally got into an actual race today on the way to work. Nothing too impressive, a BMW 740iL. The guy cut me off twice merging onto 295S heading to the Comm. Barry Bridge. At first, I let him go cuz my registration is expired and I haven't had a chance to renew it yet. So I kept cruising all the way down 295 kinda keeping him w/in eyesight. I finally reach the exit off 295 for the bridge and end up behind the asshole again going around the exit ramp for the bridge. We go through the tolls and I'm right behind him, keeping my eye on the tolls in my rear view to make sure there's no cops coming up the bridge. Other than that, the bridge is completely empty. So we're going about 60 and I hop in the right lane to start passing him. The dumbass floors it so I can't pass him. It was blatantly obvious. So I said to hell w/it and went ALMOST WOT. I just kept next to him kinda pedaling the throttle and giving him cocky looks  Finally I just went completely WOT and walked him. We were going fast, very fast. He looked very pissed off in his tweed coat  So I ended up putting about 2-3 carlengths on him over the top of the bridge. This was probly the most "formal" race I've had in my car. I was actually kinda impressed it kept up that well. Dont' know much about beamers.

i raced some yellow s2000 before. i found him on business one started messing around not really giving him the wot. so he keeps following me and i thought where can i really open it up so i was like **** lets get on rt1. Keep in mind its like 1am. we get on to rt1 and we get to a stop. he asks me what i have done and i say intake and exhaust (hehehehehe) we floor it and i make him my biotch. we slow it down and he gives the old middle finger and flys by. Next day i get a call from my friend turns out some kid was talking **** at my friends work about killing a 240sx last nigth on rt1. so my friend calls me up to see if it was me. I crack up and make him put the kid on the phone. he starts getting all tough and says that i should tell the truth about winning. at this point im peeing my pants in laughter. Can't wait until i see the prick again. im really going to lay into him this time.

Was the loud STi that beat you in South Jersey white? It could have been me, I did work for a number of clients there a few months back.

I haven't really had many races lately.

Blue EVO
Matt's Silver WRX

Jessica was supposed to race me, but she keeps posting EVOvsSTi videos instead. I guess eventually she'll run out and have to face teh boxer rumble.

My two favorite runs have to be a Porsche Carrera I ran and a vert C5. The Porsche wasn't any competition, but it was it was fun, cause he had paper plates, and it's always a blast beating a car that cost's three times as much as yours  Took me like three miles to get him to actually race me (yes, it was on the highway, bad, bad, bad LOL). My next race was on the highway too, so get over it :P Two very hot chicks in a vert C5, ran three times, they were maybe a car behind me, pretty close, definitely had some work done. Nothing better than racing hot chicks in a hot car...well, getting their number would have been better, but they got off at the next exit

I used to go to the city races all the time, i got a million race storys, only a few stick out tho.

just a few weekends ago, i raced a civic hatchback with a b16 swap supercharged... i **** all over him, by like 3 cars, and when we were cruising back to the line he gavce me the thumbs up, i was shocked, because my car is completly stock almost. i just really nailed the launch on him, i got my launch down perfect :finga:

i was driving my friends (yes a girl) supercharged rsx, at the races. beat a v8 trans am, newer, had to be 98+. guy tried to tell me it was a 4cyl , i laughed and said mine (the rsx) was a v8 twin turbo... i smoked him by like 4 cars and he said he missed second, so i raced him again. got a ****ty launch and i was 2 cars behind him, at the end of the race i was 3 cars ahead of him :)

thats pretty much my exciting racing storys.. lol, i have alot more, just dont feel like posting them.
