turbo question

got me a 02 gti. wanted to know other then the k04 turbo what other turbo will just bolt up with out changing anything?

what kind of power are u looking for out of ur car k04 turbo 93 with meth and a unitronic flash should be a nice 250-280whp.. what engine code do u have

rite now just looking for a little something extra. as far as engine code goes i have no idea. its a stock gti other then muffler if that helps any.

and to be honest im gonna try and due it on a tight budget for time being. basically used for now.

Anything wrong with the turbo? Get a reflash, intake, exhaust etc. and work your way up. The ko4-001 will be about 15hp more than the ko3, and the k04-02x will be about another 20hp from that. The 001 bolts up to stock manifold and downpipe where the 02x needs TT manifold and a downpipe. The eliminator kits are kinda a waste, it really chokes on the turbine housing side. Either way if you go bigger turbo you will need software.

and for reference the only k04-02x 1.8t getting anywhere near 280whp is my buddies GLI with custom software and a LOT of work into it. Expect 250's maybe 260's for sure though.
