MK4 Jetta clunking noise up front

Every time i hit a bump. It's coming from around the wheel area. I know its not the shocks. My mechanic friend thinks its the wheel bearing. Also, when i accelerate, the car makes a weird noise like a "wha wha wha" lol.

Wheel bearing is a possibility, ball joints, sway bars? Put the car on a lift or jacks and check and move parts around and see.

I'm pretty sure its the wheel bearings. I lifted the wheels up while it was off the ground it and clunks up and down. I'm prolly going to replace all 4 right away when i get the money. My buddy is going to help me install them. I already gave him the heads up.
