This is troyboy's (named perfect union) LS7 fiero The engine has been mated to a worked cryo treated pontiac G6 6 speed transmission. A lot of us have been waiting on the dyno run for this car. A lot of us for the wrong reasons only to bash V8Archie (the creator of this car). He did lose some WHP through the FWD transmission but still very impressive none the less. All in all i was told this car has had close to $140K invested into it

473 whp 452 tq on the stock tune it sounds like... then 475 and 456 after tuning, lol. big difference.
not sure why anyone would bash this, thats pretty ignorant. don't see how he could possibly have $140k into that though...

Theres another fiero fourm out there that like to do nothing but Bash V8Archie and make everones who owns an SBC V8 fiero's life a living hell (well they try to) but this one put them on there butts.

I dont know where the $140k came fromi have heard diffrent tailes about it but thats the highest price tag I have heard. I hope the transmission holds up through. It has been cryo treated but the G6 transmission was only rated at 270somthing stock.

Thats a nice car. The paint really works with it. The interior is done really well but in the end ruins the car because it makes it ridiculous.

The outside is nice, the motor is nice, the paint is nice. I will even go so far as to say the lambo doors work with this car.

The interior is just over the top and ridiculous. The sad thing is that could be a really nice interior but it got raped by some ghetto kid. Get rid of the speakers, the orange paint inside and all the other bling and you would have a real nice adult car.

The LS1 is a very commen swap into these cars, along with 3800SC's Northstar's and SBC's. Troyboy has money and wanted to do somthing diffrent. There are only a handfull (less than 5) LS7 swaps out there all preformed by V8 Archie. The closest one to us is a kid in NJ who does not frequent the fiero fourm often and you would never know his fiero has that engine in it because the exterior is bone stock. Dont get me wrong though LS1 is a hell of a swap into these cars, but when you have money like this guy does an LS1 is not acceptable.

Who knows? Its like asking me why I drive my drunk spray painted 87 GT when I could be out in my nice red Firebird. Its just one of thoes cars that once you get into one you want one. Theres guys on pennocks fiero fourm that i know have Ferrari's lotus's lambos. Hell theres a guy who has a 2006 mercedes SL500 who drives the SL500 daily and has the fiero as his weekend car. I bought my 1st one to use as a temporary driver because my bird was giving me trouble and here I am 2 years later with 3 of them.

The reason they make fun of Archie so much is because of the lackluster performance from most of his builds. I'd take this Fiero any day over the above LS7 power one.

The only reason he really losses power is because of the FWD transmissions he works with. Right now his best option is the F40 from the G6 (as far as stick shift's

The link you provided is the same engine swap i want to do in one of mine but with a supercharger insted of a turbo. I dont need balls to the wall power just enough to throw me back in the seat.

Also, I don't really like the F40 and would rather stick with a getrag 284. I have one sitting in the garage and I know where you find two more but I'm sticking with the auto for now.

I dont know what exactley they ment by that kind of loss but from what Archie and troy said They did lose a lot because of the transmission. I dident look into the details of it so im not going to say anything further about it.
Now as for the Getrag i have one in my 87 GT and love it but in looking into 3800SC swaps if its a high miles tranny and has not been rebult with Stronger internals it wont hold up under the 3800SC's power. I saw the carnage in person of what an SBC did to a rebuilt one and it wasent pretty. Ill see if I my buddy chris will send me pics of it. Of corce he had a big smile on his facr from doing it but it's burning a hole in his pocket now.
