If you register by the end of this month, PDA/NASA is giving a discount on three of their two day track day/HPDE events. A full two day event is $333 for the intermediate and advanced group. Its an extra $50 for the novice group, but you do get an instructor with you in the car as a novice.

The discounts are for the NJMP, Watkins Glen, and Pocono events.

I am interested in driving on a track this year- I can't find the requirements to do it (helmet type etc).

do you have a link to it?

Minimum requirements to participate in a PDA driving event:

Be at least 18 years old and hold a valid state drivers license.
Have a "SNELL SA-2000" or better rated helmet (some rental helmets are available at the registration office when checking in)
Wear long sleeve shirt & long pants while driving
Have properly working seat belts on both driver and passenger side
ALL convertibles MUST have an approved roll bar (main hoop should be made of .120 wall thick steel) or factory installed roll over protection.
Vehicle must pass tech inspection by our staff and Tech Sheets must be signed by both driver and inspector
All vehicle safety related functions must be in proper working order
Exhaust must not exceed 90 DB (except at Pocono!)
Street tires must have no less than 5/32" tread or race tires.

yeah thanks, I was like 2 days late for the discount and the price skyrocketed. all my fault for draggin my feet.

Ill be at the may3-4 event at Watkins glen
