Well, I finally did the front end swap. It took me a total of 3 hours to remove the wagon fender panels, bumper cover, bumper beam and splitters and reinstall the sedan fender panels, bumper cover, bumper beam and splitters. It looks very hawt....first nice day I'm gonna take the baby to the washy washy and take some pics.
Next step, I gotta save the dough to pickup my C-West front spoiler.

:ttiwwop:
haha, sorry, I had to.
But congrats on getting it done, the sedan flares look so much meaner. 3 hours doesn't seem bad at all. If you don't mind telling, how did you get a hold of the parts and how much were they?

But congrats on getting it done, the sedan flares look so much meaner. 3 hours doesn't seem bad at all. If you don't mind telling, how did you get a hold of the parts and how much were they? That was quite the adventure. I bought the sedan flares ($250)and sedan bumper ($100) off SupratoWRX (Tim). Then I bought an STI front bumper with fog covers and splitters ($225). They had a little road rash which I was not happy with. Also the above lip would require a hold concealment package which with painting would cost an $180.00. SO I traded the STI bumper to karl for his WRX sedan bumper. And the rest is history.......

I bet it looks really good. BTW all wagons should get the wrx front clip, I love the widebody fenders and it would look hot on a wagon insteal of those flat ones. Post pics up asap with that c-west lip!!

Very cool, I see you're rail-less too. Both things I want to do to my car sometime, nice pics.

No, but you can now that you have sedan fenders. The sedan arms are 20mm wider per side(hence the flares on sedans) so your wheels are out almost an inch further for better handling.

Really? That's pretty sweet.....how involved is that swap? I guess I would probably need an alignment after that?

Not sure, you might need the front sway bar & links, the subframe could be different. There are a bunch of little things that could be different. There has to be someone who has done it on NASIOC though.

Would it effect handling balance somehow with a wider track up front though? Certainly would look even better, and wideness is good for handling, but just curious. I doubt it, but maybe someone knows better.

Hmm I don't think I have the driver's side liner, but I have the passenger one. It's yours if you want it. Lemme know man.

Not once have I been bothered about it. I wish I could afford to do the rears.
