i wonder if streetfighter will work with clipons (if tank is narrow enough, unlike shiver) and rearsets closer to superbikes (cant tell how they are from pics, but based on relative to the engine looks like superbikes are higher/further back)

if you grip the tank with your knees like your supposed to then you would not run in to nut / arm problems

unless your in a full tuck you can keep your back straight ...

while they are no touring bike i can say with some experience that the 1198 isn't very uncomfortable to ride .. granted it gets hot as hell ..


and like i said before i only have the plastics off for the winter .. while its sitting in the shed .. i do not ride it with the plastics off i like the plastics if i wanted a streetfighter i would have spent less money and bought a streetfighter

haha that has 0 relevance to arm/back position though. plus you dont ride with your feet down anyway. i do want to try riding some 'standard' bikes cause the only one ive ridden so far was my 250, which has a small arm-leg-seat triangle and no tank sticking out so it kinda doesnt count

yea when it goes on the street the plastics stay on ... i haven't gone crazy with stoppies on the 1198 yet full floating brakes make ungodly noise's lol but she loves to wheelie


simple solution to not scratching it .. don't drop it ;-) haha but i really don't stunt much anymore just the occasional wheelie
