i highly doubt the work needed will be worth the price of the car. valves and turbo seal is no laughing, or cheap, matter.

well the car is worth 14k and I can get it for under 9k so id be willing to spend a few hundred bucks, the valves jus need to be adjusted and the turbo seals only get messed up when the car sits for over 2 weeks

adjusting valves can cost a lot more than you think. if its on an inline 4 it shouldnt be to bad. but if your looking at a subie, its gona cost you a lot.

You should be looking at $800 for engine work at least id say. no offense but if a valve needs an adjustment its probably cause something serious unadjusted it. sounds like a money pit to me
