03 wrx apexi turbo time install problem. Help!!

Ok so my friend goes to intall my apexi turbo timer on my 03 wrx the other day. We get it all hooked up the right way as the directions say. We mount it and the turbo timer works fine. Also we follow the directions on the forum to bypass the alarm wire so we can lock the car while the turbo timer is activated. Ok so we go to hook up the wire to the e-brake so that when the e-brake is put down the car will shut off, well it still stayed running with the e-brake up or down. Does anyone know which wire to tap into, or what I should do to fix this. Let me know. Thanks

If I remember correctly it is the pink wire that goes to the spring loaded switch on the bottom of the parking brake assembly.

We tried the pink like it said, it still didnt work. Then it said for 03 wrx, a light green wire, there isnt even a light green wire. Anyways, if anyone knows any info post it up. Thanks for the info the mike

get a pinout for your computer and see how your alarm system is set up. (electricaly)

yea I have a HKS harness. So its the grey wire on the e-brake assembly?

Yes, According to the APEX-I diagram the grey wire is the handbrake. Did you do any wire splicing into the ECU?
