I didnt go, I went to a party instead. My friend was down there in his 06 blue wrx. Was it a good night for getting gas?
No, not for some people. If anyone happens to see a silver civic with a black hood and a girl painted on it, let one of us know or call the police.

the girl was hand painted on the hood with a brush i assume. it was a 92-95 style coupe, silver, kitted out.. with a black hood. im keeping a ear out for anything about it

Yea apparently it got stolen by one of the regulars down there....Sitting in the Police station at 5 am was not fun....But it was for a fellow TST member so, we could always lend a hand.

Please keep a look out, I think a couple of us are going down tonight to see if we see it.

That really sucks what happened. You really gotta be carefull down there. If he's a regular chances are you will see him again.Everytime I stop my car or park it I flip the kill switch. I was there last night. Wish I coulda helped.

yea i was down there madd running from cops tho. there was alot of m3's and 300zx tho. mo u should have been there to woop on all them foo's. there was also alot of slow ass cars! the blue evo wanted to go for it again this week and i beat him again. also raced a black srt4 that jumped the line and got me by half a car! any way i dunno if im goin down today. all the DD crew is goin out togather tonight so i might join in!!!

o ok. i remembered an acura TL gettin owned by the locals the one night. i dont go get gas anymore. but i always had someone with me and stayed near my car at all times. i dont trust anyone. good luck finding your car. i unfortunatley been through the same thing.

Wow, I am really sorry to hear this happened to you or anyone. I think I would be completely lost if someone stole something that you worked for and had something to show for it. I pray they find this dude, I think if they don't find him soon a couple of us TST members might have to go down there and regulate. Ill bring out the street sweeper :mrgreen:

I am also positive of one thing, that if it does come to the worst and they don't find the car, I am all about donating so of my money to help you get back into another civic and I am also sure that a lot of the guys on here would do the same.

i am lost. i've been so upset the past few days. all your support has def made me feel a little better. I just keep hopin they will find the guy. I mean I know its a lost cause for my car. im sure its stripped. but. maybe at least if the guy is found i can at least get some money to buy a new car.

I was standin leanin on my door when a guy came up to me... black/hispanic. whatever. they said he goes down all the time and he flags... but yea. he was in on it wit some kid Will that I got in a car accident with in Sept. The guy just pushed me out of the way tho and. yah. took my car.

I’ve been a victim of a car theft also, however, not in the manner in which you were assaulted, which is very, disturbing. Fortunately you were not physically harmed and he was only going after your car. As hard as it maybe to hear, things could’ve gone much worse, so hopefully you maybe able to find comfort in the fact that you were not physically hurt. But I know psychologically this will be with you for sometime.

You have a picture of him, and you know what he looks like (many people have seen him before and know where to find him.) It wouldn’t be too hard to get his name. So I would certainly pursue this further with the Authorities. This “guy” is someone that does not belong on the street and will perhaps continue to do this to someone else, or sometime in the future, do far worse then what he’s done already. Next time, it might not be just the car. His life is going nowhere fast (behind bars)… so return the favor and get him there faster. (He’s been put on full blast on the Internet with that pic, so I doubt he’ll be able to keep a low profile for too long.)

Sorry this has happened to you, but I would definitely pursue this. Sadly, this is yet another example of how unsafe that area has become. There are other places where it’s possible to meet people without that kind of threat. I hope this will not remain a frequent hangout of choice for people… it’s not safe down there anymore.

everyone should take his advice....I have been down there for the past 5 years.. and every year seems to get worse and worse. It has gone from a friendly atmosphere with some 11 and 12 second cars to absolute ghetto bull**** with *** ass honda's and nonSRT-4's that run 17 seconds. Now that I look back I enjoyed it when it was fun but it isn't anymore...especially when your life and car is truely at stake. It just isn't worth it anymore....

i agree i used to go down there alot. used to be alot of fun. havent been down there in a few months. i dont want to bring my car there cuz i know what type of ppl are there. i have heard of people being followed home. its not worth it anymore.

People from all over the tri-state area show up to get gas.When you go down there your risking alot.I started going down there this past summer i was able to get a few runs in but there was this chinese kid eye balling my car up and down in the parking lot of where the Pool Hall is, something told me to move my car.Lets just say the kid wasnt the tuner type at all, the look in his eye wasnt of admiration of my car but the look of yea im gonna get alot of money for the parts for this.If you really need to get gas from there just have a few friends tag along.

eh its not worth it to go watch. last year was waaaay better than its been all year this year. this summer i was around like 4 shootings. all within 10 feet of me and 1 like 3 feet haha.

Sorry to hear that happen. I'm not a fan at all of getting gas and this is a good reason not to go down there. Why does there have to be jackasses out there? This world has become pretty messed up to me and people have no respect for anyone anymore. There should definetly be something done about this. This is totally wrong. I would say lets go mess him up but you never know who could have a gun on them.

as bad as it might sound i would just take this as a learning experience and handle it legally. Justbecuase if you are wrong and then you will end up getting jail time if u retailiate and u were an innocent victim. Leave it to teh courts and if that doesnt work its not worth risking your life.

yeah i remember when they flipped that car at hess to i was within like 10ft of that and it was preety scary.... not to mention that head on colisio a year ago in the summer right infront of the auto mall i swear if i didnt make a right and go behind the auto mall i woulda been in that accident the mazda was driving right next to me 5 minz before hand. its scary when all u see is smoke and headlights of a car spinning. alot has changed in the last 4 or 5 years and i bet people who have been attending the races for longer have noticed an even more significant change

my friend died in that accident btw, mx something riced out with tan paint?

first time i ever been to the races no1 was there cuz some1 crashed into some1 and kicked in someones windshield or something and started shootin a ****in gun in the air.

i would love to see races back in the early 80's. all my friends dads went and i heard there were some nice cars like cudas and chevelles. i bet the cops didnt even care. now you got a bunch of ghetto people with riced out family cars doin drugs and drunk drivin not givin a chit about anything but themselves
