have any of you guys been through emissions with a stage 2 yet?

I don't see why stage two would affect your emissions.

going through inspection.. as in catless.. no cats, failing inspection. Im wondering what does the ODB say when they do the testing. Is it a CAT unready code or somthing like that seeing how accessport disables those sensors.

Well you don't have to be catless to be stage 2.

Here is the pre-req from cobb.
Stage 2 93 oct Stage 2 using 93 octane fuel. Requires stock turbo, stock intake and turboback exhaust. 285HP / 285 ft-lbs. Cat Efficiency and EGT CEL's removed.
Hi flow cats are acceptable and are pretty much no different as no cat's accoding to cobb. So what consists as a turbo-back?
Stage 1 can go as far as a "de-catted" up-pipe read in cobbs forums, so im assuming stage 2 would be catted downpipe, 3rd cat delete and catless up-pipe???
And no im not proving your point, so pretty much anyone can go to stage 2 if they have a "turbo-back" catted or not?? Im trying to figure out myself what consists of a stage 2. And back to my orignal question has anyone gone through an inspection without ANY cats using a cobb accessport and passed?

Ok i am confused??? SO you are proving my point that a uncatted exhaust is not required.

im no emissions testing tech but if there is no visible cats...you fail. if they do a sniffer test on the end of your exhaust and your catless...you fail. the only way you can pass is if the inspector only does an OBDII test which in your case if your not catted and have an accessport, you will pass because the accessport enables those codes as "clear" meaning there is no problems with your oxygen sensor and all that other stuff. in other words if you have an accessport and you go for an emmissions test and they use an OBDII only test, then you would most likely pass. dont take my word for it though, your on your own. and to help with the other question, from what i hear, it doesnt matter if you have cats or not with the stg. 2

only OBD2 testing is required now in PA, so it is easy to pass. hey, i've done it 2 years in a row now ;).
the visual is still supposed to be performed i believe, but most shops dont care so they dont do it, and i'm pretty sure the sniffer is old technology now and not used at all.

Why can't you just switch the acessport back to stock if necessary?

The inspection facility by my place doesn’t have an AWD emissions testing unit so I’m assuming they only do an idle sniff. According to some people on NASIOC the idle sniff can be past with a sufficiently warmed up vehicle.

You can, but if you’re catless you will throw a code and fail the ODB portion for cat inefficiency or some junk like that.

can you give me a list of shops that most likely wont check? This would save me a hell of a lot of time, I was considering swapping out my dowpipe, catback combo to pass the 'visual' part of the test.

Stuff like that shouldnt be discussed and I think can be considederd illegal. It can also pose a risk to the shop's owner as by not following state regulations?

When I was in PA I just took mine to one of the big chain stores every year. When they plugged in they couldn't get a reading and just passed it. They have so many cars to inspect as long as you have a newer model year car they just move on...
Moved to NJ about a year ago and I just loaded the stock map back right before taking it in, I am running a Helix catted dp and stock uppipe though.

I don't have an Accessport, but I did pass the OBD2 readiness test without cats. I have a TXS DP(catless) with the Godspeed fix, which I believe is the reason it passed the OBD2 section. You COULD wire in the resistor to pass. You will fail visual. I did.

With any cobb map you will pass the OBD2 .Cats, no cats doesn't matter. if you see no cel on your dash you are fine.
If there is no cats. it is the visual test that you will not pass, but if you go to a private garage they will most likely not look. They will pass you. They want your money.

When I took it into a Pep Boys in PA my inspection sheet read "No reading from onboard computer, there MUST be a reading from the onboard computer." They passed me anyway.

strange, maybe they have the problem. at least you passed

I actually got that reading everytime I was inspected in PA, its the nature of the reflash.

The reason that they can't read the computer is that Cobb rewrites the factory computer coding when you flash with accessport. You passed because there is a loophole(sp?) in the emmisions procedure for PA. If they cant communicate with your computer, you get a onetime free pass. The next time you go to get inspected you might not pass though.

Are you saying having stage 2 will put me at 285HP? I will be stage 2 w/ cattless u-pipe in 6mo +/-

thats the theory haha. but after the initial turboback + accessport your not gonna see much if any gains in performance, unless u get a protune
