View Full Version : Porsche help, which side is bank 2?

Hey everyone, didn't know where else to put this thread so I decided on general car talk. My friend has a 99 Boxster and a code came up for bank 2 sensor 1 for the o2 sensors. I was just seeing if anyone knew wether bank 2 was passenger side or driver side? Thanks.


I also posted this question in the porsche forums but so far no luck.

Replace all of them, Chances are if one is doing it they all will sooner or later

Bank 1 is always RIGHT(Passenger's side on a LHD vehicle)

Bank 2 is always LEFT(Driver's side)

Replace all of them, Chances are if one is doing it they all will sooner or later

They are 280 each, it's pretty hefty to replace all 4 at the same time.
