So after much debate on finding a vehicle that would suite my needs for winter and daily driving I decided to get a Jeep. She needs a little bit of body work done to fix a rust spot but other then that she's pretty sound.

1997 Jeep Wrangler
117,790 on the clock
brand new rear-end
3" body lift (debating on taking off and replacing with suspension lift and larger tires)
Sound bar

Overall she hasn't been abused and has very minimal rust

She's perfect for trailering the Z or even pulling moron's out of ditches in the winter time

Here are a few pix

Looks awesome. I love jeeps. Why take the body lift off, just add a suspension lift to it and run it that way. Where are u gonna get ur parts from. Have you ever heard of Jeff daniels jeeps, those guys are awesome. I used them for my grand cherokee when I had it

Yeah I agree... I want to replace them with something different. The blue mixed in with the tan looks horrible.

I'm thinking of taking the body lift off cause that big of a body lift puts a lot of stress on the bolts and if you are ever in an accident, there is a possibility of the bolts snapping and sending the body of the jeep for it on little ride.

As for Jeff Daniel's Jeeps... nope never heard of them. Might be something worth looking into thanks

I really want to put a 4" suspension lift on her with 33" tires, I was also thinking of repainting her a Audi S4 Sprint Blue Pearl and putting a 3D flame on the hood.... for example this practice panel.

was never a fan of body lifts. do it right and get the suspension lift. i forgot how many inches my cherokee and wrangler were lifted, but it wasnt all that much to get 35s under it. nice pickup. that jeep is bulletproof

I would ditch the 3" BL, and do a 1.25". Then do the suspension kit. If you do a long arm kit. . . we are getting married. You need to close up that wheel gap, get some meats on that bitch! :D

dcnism0 - I actually picked her up for $4,800 not bad considering she's in pretty good shape.

BustedUjoint - As for the 3" BL, yes that will be going. I want to upgrade to the SkyJacker Standard 2" spacer lift kit w/nitro shocks. I know, big woop. But for right now I won't be climbing her, just so long as I make it from point A to point B I'll be happy. Plus I want to get some larger tires under her :D

Nice! With the 2" you should be able to fit 32's under her. And I believe ProComp is still running their buy 3 get one free deal. I HIGHLY recommend the ProComp Extreme Mud Terrains. I was runnign 33x12.5's on my Rubicon before we had to part ways. Not loud on the road, good road habits and tread wear was great. Just depends on how aggressive a tire you want to go, and how much you want to spend. Let me find a pic me her. . .

hmm, no pic. But here is a video. This is right after I put the lift/tires/wheels on. Worked flawlessly.

You could also do a 1.25" BL with 2.25" Coil Spacers with new shocks and fit 33's with PLENTY of room for flex :D Just don't run monotube shocks. Mine exploded :(
