ok so i had the tint on my car for like 5 years and was never bothered about it.....the cop was even like wtf???? he was cool and all but cops talk a lot and dont make sence and they dont realize what they say. he was tellin me the laws and junk and they didnt seem to make sence to me. but watever. im just frustrated that i have to take the tint off after all those years.so i gotta take it off or take the hit.??? ugh sor for the rant but i needed it. theres probly more that was needed to be said but im on the phone at the moment sooo ugh lol

sometimes when you do something illegal, you get caught. you then have to deal with the consequences. it's tint, not really a big deal... you're lucky the cop didn't pick apart every mod on your car.

There's no rule that says the cop HAS to pull you over for something the FIRST time he sees you. He can do it whenever the hell he wants. So either take the tint off, or pay the fine.

i remeber when i was stationed in washington, i got pulled over 8 times, reason being? all the cops said they though i was driving drunk. which i wasn't. everytime i blew into their breathilzer machine, came out .00.

my idea of why they pulled me over, cause i'm a young guy, driving a blacked out suv, with military base stickers on it. they see the military sticker, automaticly assumes i've been drinking, and it's free money for them.

but as for going 10 under.... i did a U turn in delaware. my buddy was in his loud ass neon and when he turned he got on it. as i turned a bit behind him i saw the cop tunr on her lights. and she bpulled out.( she was facing opposite direction on our side of the road) my car with stock exhaust made no noise. she pulled both pf us over. people on the side of the road came up to me and were like wtf??? y did she pull you over u turns are legal. haha
the cop passed me to pull my buddu over and stopped all traffic that passed me to get to me...... arg i guess thats what happens with a high profile car. but next time she better not hit my car with her night stick. even if it was just for a nice gesture....i

"The sign wasn't flashing."

his response, "Thats why i'm here. You should know that school is going on."

me being pissed "How the f*ck am i supose to know the school schuduel, i dn't have a kid."

his response, "Again, thats why I'm here, to remind you. Enjoy your ticket."

$432 fine.

my gf had a similar incident. driving down a tight road. through a yellow light. the cops bulls her over (she can never stay calm in these situations, and she does cry on purpose anyway lol)

I never understood why the police seem to profile certain cars and motorcycles and let others get away with "murder."

For example, when my 914 was a my daily driver, I use to drive it around with no muffler half the time and it would shoot blue flames out the exhaust. The cops never pulled me over for anyhting in that car.

When I had my ZX2 S/R with the stock, factory Borla exhaust, I got pulled over monthly and accuded of having a "Loud aftermarket muffler." These were the same cops who never pulled me over for no muffler and shooting flames out the back of my 914's exhaust.

One time when the cop pulled me over to a so called "Loud aftermarket muffler" we got passed by a Harley with no muffler that was so loud, the cop couldn't hear himself talk and had to stop talking until the motorcycle passed by and drove down the road and the cop didn't care.

Drive by the local cops on a sportbike with no muffler or a loud exhaust and helf the time they will at least follow you and sometimes pull you over. However they ignore Harleys with no mufflers.

Just because selling it is legal does not mean that using has to be legal. There are legal applications for tint so they can not make selling it illegal. As far as why is tint illegal in PA. Think about it, it's not really that sunny and hot here year round to require the use of tint. So there for it is a safety hazard for a police officer when he is walkiin up to ur car especially at night. This is why tint is illegal, you need to think about the officer in this situation. And all the guns and shooting that happen every year. Dont get me wrong I have my windows tinted but you have to pay to play. Either pay your fine or quit bitching about a cop doing his job. So what he let you go for so long, u should be happy about that because you had your tint on for so long. Either pay ur fine or take it off, and if ur car is such a target car then how did you go so long with out a ticket. Away around the tint thing is find a dr that will give u a note for having tint due to eye problems.

Go to school!!! Than you can all realize this argument is worthless and that your spelling is god awful! They aren't breaking any laws tinting your windows, but you in fact are breaking the law driving with an illegal window tint %. Police can pull you over for what ever they feel like. If you disagree, than go to court and fight it. If you disagree further, than reread my original statement, than apply to a school of your choice, get an education (learn to spell while your at it) then change the system.

I posted this before but I've never gotten a ticket for tint. When you get pulled over drop all your windows, open the sunroof, turn the headlights to just parking lights, hazards on, and hands on top of the steering wheel. Instead of ticketing you, they might even thank you.

I'm a strong believer in pay to play, figure out a way to get away with it or quit bitching...I live in the only town that bothers me for it...so what do I do? I drive with the windows down at all times unless it's raining....doesn't matter if its 5 degrees or 105...I do it. Do I get pulled over for having my tinted windows down? no.
