I'd love to get a day set up with one or two female models to do a photoshoot with our cars. I am no way a great photographer so I'm interested in the following:

good photographers (plenty of them here on this site)

I PM'd you the details, as I'm not going to derail this thread. But the fact that I've had more than 30 warranty claims on the car already and put more miles on loaners than my LGT in the last 4 months is why I said it was a maintenance nightmare.

Before you all go crazy with the invalid war let me explain myself. If it was optional or came on just STIs then yea ok it's a signature, but it's on EVERY model of everything Subaru. That's why I don't like it. It's like on order to stand out in the Subaru world you have to Not have a scoop or like that guy had in the snow above this post with the vents or something. Everyone has their opinion. This is mine. You may love your scoop and if you want to tell me you hate me PM me because that's not what this thread is about.

Lat time I looked at the subaru website only the 2 low end imprezas and legacys don't have it. So I guess not every model has it; just most of the ones people buy.

That sucks, I've had my WRX for 100k miles and never once had a problem. I'm even on the same clutch and plugs from day 1. (I should definitely replace both though :))

Thanks for the compliment, much appreciated. I've been tempted to paint the CF hood and lip for a while now, but it's the only thing that really makes my car stand out (good or bad) from the other subarus around the area. Looks mean & aggressive from the front, not sure I like how it looks from the side though.

Nah I'm a good guy. Some people just read what they want. I don't hate on other people's work. Manufacturer defects maybe, but not other people's ideas and dreams.

Right now it seems like no one knows where it's at, who's going to be there, or when it is. Also the photographer is also a special guest that no one knows. It's an interesting forum, but not leading very far at the moment.

OKAY, I'll try to help get this ball rolling somewhat. What are some good locations for taking shots? I noticed in the shot of the protege on an earlier page the Reading Pagoda...thats an awesome spot but not a lot of room for a big meet. Another awesome spot is the Francis E. Walter dam near blakslee. (the dam has TONS of room for a meet as well) Post up some ideas for locations!

The dam is located literally about half a mile from jack frost ski resort. It's really easy to find your way to it from 80. We could probably get a meet going for next weekend possibly.

The dam will be empty of people this time of year (I'm guessing) and has some sweet curvy roads before you actually reach the dam. I'll probably take a trip up this weekend to see if I can find some nice spots for some pics.

I got a place in Chester by the Walt Whitman Bridge where there's abandoned factories and the waterworks (Right on the waterfront). It can fit about 300 cars. We did a show there over the summer. I'll see if I can find some pictures.

The francis E. Walter dam is located about 10-15 minutes from pocono raceway. So you could possibly get shots at both locations. If you look on mapquest....where interstate 476 and route 80 intersect....it is directly next to there.

Those pictures of the brooklyn grafitti spot are amazing! I DEFINITELY want to go there sometime next spring/summer....not sure I want to drive the scrubaru there in the winter though.

If I can find this one pic I have...when the bottom of the dam is dryed out, you can literally pull off the road and next to HUGE cliff walls, but it's rained like a mofo this last couple weeks so that road will be submerged. Last time I was there it was 100% okay to drive on that road even with it flooded since people use it for fishing / ice skating.

Close but its actually on the opposite side of 476 on Walter Dam road. Our best bet would be for everyone to meet up at the truckers stop at the intersection of 80 and 476. There is a A&W, WAWA, Mcdonalds, & Dennys. Biggest parking lot there is probably the A&W parking lot. Plus you can see everyone as they pull off 476 or 80.

If you don't mind someone actually f-n up your car, that's not really that hard to do. The lighting in that place looks pretty balls though (under the bridge).

FDR Park is in South Philly, the skate park is right under I-95 there. Don't think I haven't considered the possibility of f u k 'ing up the car but practice and setup would minimize that...and good camera angles that could make it look riskier than it really would be. Lighting I didn't think out ...I'd have to scope it out to see if the lighting in specific spots was best at certain times. I still think it would be a cool car pic.

It is the exit directly after the PA-115 exit if you area heading West on 80 and the first exit after the white haven exit if you headed east on 80. (I believe)

If you look at any map and see where 476...80....and 940 converge, it's a truck stop with a WAWA, A&W, Long john silvers, arbys, mcdonalds, and a denys. The road to enter the dam is about half a east on 940 mile from the truck stop. You'll see a giant sign that says "France E. Walter Dam".

If their is still any confusion for anyone, just pretend your driving to Jack frost....instead of entering Jack Frost travel a mile or so west on 940...bam, you're there.
