you gotta love how they live in probably a 200k townhouse and drive a 100k car. thats what they deserve for not keeping a car like that in the garage, and especially not having locking lugs.

this was posted a few weeks ago in the slammed cars thread. i guess the owner left it out of his garage for one night or something.

That is just retarded. I want to beat the fks ass who would even disrespect that GTR in that manner and smack the owner for not keeping it inside. Our GTR stays under her $600 nissan cover at all times away from anything possible just for crap like that.

Good thing is, should be easy to spot a craigslist add "GTR wheels for sale"

Seriously they have a car like that just parked outside? That's just asking for trouble. Only car I keep outside is my accord. I wish someone would steal it.

probably got a 2000 a month car note and they cannot pay 200 for a garage?

+1...

The owner of the car was visiting his girlfriend..

Very old news.

But I do remember reading somewhere that the owner normally keeps the GT-R garaged and has an SUV as his DD. That night, he put the SUV in the garage because it contained some equipment that he -- ironically enough -- wanted to keep safe. Then the GT-R wheels were stolen.

IIRC, the owner wasn't really all that upset and the car itself only received minor damage -- and the wheels should be an easy enough loss to recover via insurance.

Of course, that's only what I read. Who knows if it's the truth.

How much do you guys think the wheels would go for?

The owner was visiting his gf, first night the car stayed outside. This is as old, at least post story with the pics so people don't get all crazy calling the guy an idiot for not having priorities. He obviously does if his gf can afford a nice town home off his dime. People are scum for stealing the wheels, they obviously didn't know what they were getting cause that brake setup is worth WAY more than the wheels.

he got money from the insurance company and he's putting aero and new rims on it.

edit- on the insurance companys dime.

So thats how we can get our insurance company to keep buying us extra sets of track wheels for the gtr.... hmm

MTuning

it wouldn't be exactly easy but i would like to think if he keeps his eyes online he could track them down and return some karma to the thieves. the thieves are going to sell them or if they're stupid enough, use them on a non-GTR. just find the guy that doesn't own a GTR selling GTR wheels lol.

but i doubt the owner really cares that much since he can afford the car.
