lol, I dont want it to burn. I want it back in its parking spot out front. I think its completely rediculous that I cant get over the damn thing though. Its been way too long to still be sad about it.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to fix it again. It was a tuned stage 4 WRX running 21psi. It was no joke. The problem with that is the trans just could never hold the power properly even though I took the steps to prolong failure. I was hoping to have a trans built over the winter. I had a core ready and everything. But It lost first gear and I just wasn't in a position to get it done. Andrewtech had a 5 month wait for a PPG gearset, I had a set of stock gears but no one would install them for a reasonable price, and It would have been worthless. I would have gotten 1 year tops again out of a grand. I had nowhere to store the car while it was down and couldnt justify not being able to drive a car that I was paying 450 a month for. The best thing I could do was just trade it it. I was told it was going to auction, but I guess I was stupid to think that an 05 with 60k and immaculate condition wouldnt have sold. They fixed the trans, popped it out front and the rest is history.

Believe me, I never had any intentions of letting my hard work go.

maybe this car isnt rewarding but it was a decision it sounded like you had to make, and in the end its good for you financially. You will have another car you will love one day, its just a waiting game :).
