Thanks dude. Unfortunately I'm on vacation till the 11th, so if it's before that I won't make it. Either way, I prolly won't be able to be part of the cruise, but I'll meet up at the shoot. I still have another 900 miles of no boost sub-3K rpm break in, so following my slow ass wouldn't be any fun, lol.

um yea we just need an ending place. ryan maybe if your not busy saturday. and if im not busy we'll figure out a place. you gotta bring the van i wont have mine huge party van lol

If this fits in my schedule, I am in. I'd like to get a few more events in before Liz is garaged for the winter. Let's get a date set asap, please.

If you ever stop by the Allentown Meet I am sure you can pick up quite a few more folks to go. I would be interested depending on the day.

The 25th is the dyno day that a lot of people go to.
http://www.tristatetuners.com/forum/showthread.php?t=86731
It would be easier to have the photo shoot that day because people might have time to do both in one day since you don't have to spend a lot of time at the dyno.

I'd be interested in the cruise if it was on the 24th.

don't know how you guys are going but this is the route we took on monday up to the Water Gap/Stroudsburg area. we'll be going again on the morning of the 31st. there is an overlook that has a 2 pull-offs for pictures and is an awesome backdrop:

here is the route we took. killer scenic back roads:

dam dude we are no where near stroudsberg. this isnt really a looooong cruise its really (starting out) to be jsut a little meet to meet cruise through the valley really.
maybe an hour or soo long at roughly the speed limit. except when the signs that say take corner at 25mph...........more like 60mph.
i just talked about it tonight with some guys.....i might jsut ditch all the shows/meets and do this. does everyone know where shoenersville sheetz is?? start there. end at the choice of 2 restaurants right after blue mountain.

how about a salty winter cruise, next sat 13th? I have that day off and can lead the way or take your route whatever... Pending weather obviously. No fancy brake pads needed no traction in salt anyway :drag:

I've done this route previously. As long as the roads aren't icy, its a fun drive with nice scenery.

Looks good except for the undercarriage grinding that my miata would get on smith gap rd with those boulders and gravel, I assume they have yet to pave it? last time I was there it looked like a bad place for a lowered car

here's another route based off of the one you made.

The last two times I drove on it, it was after dark, but it wasn't bad as far as large rocks go.

If you don't want to drive on smith gap road, then the road between points F and G (Ashfield & Blue Mountain Road) will be an issue too since its not paved in all areas and is partially a gravel road. The next road over the mountain to the west (Bake Over & Church Road) is also unpaved.

This route would be all paved roads and lowered car friendly. Well as friendly as rural PA roads can be. It also ends near two gas stations and the ramp to I-78.
