With a garage? GL,most places that rent dont have garages.

There's a bunch, you just have to know where to look. My best friend's parents rent a little rancher in woodbury, actually right back down Broad from were the garage meets were by the diner, with an attached two car and a driveway that is able to hold two more. If you're cool with the landlord, they generally return the favor, but usually only to an extent. We've basically turned the garage into a shopspace over the last few years, and as long as we were on the quiet side and kept the garage door shut at night, there wasn't a single problem and the LL lived across the street. He's a rarity though.

Jerz is nice as far as it being really rural with a whole bunch of interconnected towns and jazz, but the insurance and the other stuff are what kill you. Philly is nice because I live on the outskirts, and although I live in a rowhome, we still have a garage and a driveway. Get further out, and you get more room and better neighborhoods, but I'll always love the city.

I'd love to rent a house and have some buds living with, but ideally, if they were all as into cars as me, it'd have to be like a 3 bedroom house with a 6 car garage, haha.

And yes there are places like you said,but they arent all that common,at least from what i see driving around Woodbury/deptford/glassboro/mantua/mulicahill/turnersville/washington township/blackwood/williamstown area.

And im not worried about garage storage,more just the ability to have space to work if need be ya know.

Maybe it's not broad. They're right by some diner, an Advanced Auto, and LaPollos junkyard. I think the actual main street they're off of is called Hessian.

Surprisingly, I've been able to find a few places with Garages, though most of the locations are inconvenient as they'd make my drive to work more than 10 minutes and my drive to school more than 10 minutes from my house or job.

It's a cool idea, but I don't think you could get everyone together.

A lot of the people who used to post in this thread aren't cool with each other anymore.

So i got a call while i was at work today that i had to come home immediately.

So i rush home and my cat,that i've had 14 years,was dead and under a towel.

My sister had just gotten a new puppy(today was its first birthday) and i think the dog tried playing with the cat, bit it too hard, and punctured its neck.

Im having the cat cremated but its a very upsetting thing,if you've had animals that you were close to you'd understand.

It was almost like a child of mine,who's been with me my whole life.

I don't think it's Phil's car, because his was never caged when he owned it from what I can remember.

Unless, of course, someone bought the car and went to put a cage in it and ran out of funds.

Then there's LongGrain's car which is the Red D* Squad (Death Squad/Drift Squad/Destruction Squad) AE86 Hatch, which someone could confuse to be Risky Devil since RD, GG, ClubFR, and D*Squad all run in the same circles it seems.

Then there's always the possibility that someone is just trying to sell it as a "Risky Devil" car to try and make some coin, though personally I'd buy Phil's old car because it was used for Stance Prototyping.

On a completely un-related note, AN Fittings are expensive as all hell. I dropped like $700 on that stuff yesterday.

It's not so bad. I've had two of them and three other endoscopies over the years. The pill endoscopy is like the greatest thing ever.

The prep does suck for everything though.

You get to literally carry around a computer on your waist all day though so I guess that is also pretty cool.

Okay so this is not as cool as it sounds,its a computer attatched to this waist band which is in like an old school camera case,like the ones who used film still. Which has a strap. almost man bag status.

Is it one of those heart monitor things?

I had something like that when I was about 5 or 6 and it had a bunch of sensors that measured heart beats and such.

Was not fun.

Turns out that my heart beated/beats the wrong way.

It's either a Star/Quest or a GVR4 on my plate next, really whichever presents itself first. I think the RWD thing would be pretty sweet, toss a 4g in, plus the T56 trans can be made to bolt up to it. It would be totally boss to have a 6th gear on the highway for fuel economy with 20G.

I have pics of the wheels they're adr fuels if you wanna look em up they're like fno1rc's kinda... coils are still on my 2 so I don't have any pics at the moment but they're megan coils that since I've had, I've put less than 300 miles on and they were put on the car shortly before I bought it, they rode great, better than the kei offices on my fc... as far as pricing idk for both I'd do like 1k, if you want em separate 700 for the coils, 400 for the wheels with tires obo

1. the BB meet started early enough to where i could bring her.

16x8 +17 Grids would look sick.

Pretty sure 8" Wide might be too narrow if Foolin' is looking to put down power.

17's are definitely the way to go, IMO.

Oh and By the way, I don't know if we talked about this, but WheelDude pretty much runs the American Rota Market in the Same way that DriftWorks controls the Market in Europe.

If you're looking for some specific random size, odds are that WheelDude can get them, but they seem to run about $50 to $75 more expensive per set though.

Just can't get down with knock-offs, and Rotas are the zenith of that immediate market in my mind. It's nothing against their current quality, but they're not for me.

Personally, I'm going to get half a dozen or more Grids to drift on because they're cheap, relatively light weight, expendable, and decently sized. Buying expensive wheels that you know you're going to be swapping tires on and off of once or twice a month doesn't make much sense to me.

Though I am looking at dropping a pretty penny on some cool street wheels.

I love my rota subzeros, unfortunaly one of them had 2 cracked spokes when i bought it. The lip on the rear one cracked (massive pot hole) causing the wheel to loose air. I took it to a welder and had both wheels fixed and they have been purrfect thus far, just gotta paint them black.

Meh, I had the same feeling, but in reality, it probably comes down to how much of it was hollowed out and the material it's made from. The other part of that being that it's only a strut bar, and this one is most likely more for show than actual race prep.

It's a 2pt strut bar, probably never did anything in the first place. Plus it's a VW so the rest of the suspension is probably a complete cluster ****. Oh and tubular bars are stronger than solid :)

It's probably just as strong, most strut tower bars are made out of pretty thin tubing to begin with, usually something like an .90 wall.

The wall thickness really doesn't have to be that high since most of the forces on a strut tower brace are compression and there isn't really THAT much force going through them to begin with.

If you really want to build a good brace then it should be tied into the firewall.

cool as **** looking rec'd for intuitive thinking, but i agree form>function on this one. very good tuck job on this too. hate that its nearly impossible on most modern cars. (although a very big rep i give to honda kids is theres alota really clean engine bays in their game even on newer obd2 cars)

As far as OBD2 tucks, some people are doing some pretty crazy things with newer cars as of late, relocating every system to somewhere else in the car where it isn't as visible unless it absolutely needs to be in the engine bay.

This duder also has some sort of Itty-Bitty baby turbo strapped to the side of his motor as well. You need this too. I'm fairly certain a T25 from an SR would be all you need to make some respectable number.

fro... yeah ive seen a few obd2 cars with some sick tucks mostly k series swaps but still my srt is a cluster bomb in the engine bay. gona see what i can do this winter while its off the road tho and relocate what i can. Theres some retarted vaccum set ups in the car i swear at one point it loops back to itself on the same line.

PS im going plasti dip crazy on the car when i get a chance. Wheels and front bumper. im excited to see how it turns out cuz if i dont like it i can tear it off haha

o lol thats someone using plati dip insted of paint to do wheels. its like a coating that adheres to things with minimal prep and it comes off if you want to take it off too wont ruin the wheel/paint you put it on either.
