Explain your signature to me.

It all starts out with a high school crush of a boy named Matty Mara aka Rickety Cricket. During high school he had such a crush on a girl that she told him she would kiss him if he ate some horse ****. So he did, and she ended up not kissing him because his breath smelled like ****. Flash forward about 10 years or so and these two meet again, except now Matty Mara is a priest. Long story short she tries to get him to bless a water stain that looks like the holy Mary, and he wont. This causes the girl to begin to think that she cant get him to do anything he wants for her anymore so she tells him shes loves him and to leave the priesthood for her so they can get married. So he does, and she rejects him, so he tea bags her brother. A few months later, this same girl needed to sell cocaine to pay back the mafia and runs into Rickety Cricket, who is now homeless. She eventually gets him to sell her drugs for her, and he ends up doing this so fast that she decides to have him sell another batch for some extra cash. He doesn't want to until she forces him to take some of the cocaine shes selling by rubbing it in gums. So later in the day she goes looking for Rickety Cricket and ends up finding him playing two trash cans as drums on some street corner. Apparently he sold the drugs as well as doing a good amount to himself, took the money from selling the drugs and bought some sweet ass kettle drums (aka trash cans) and began writing his own musical about the arc angel coming to earth to fight crime. And as he was finishing up the seventh act he stated "You guys, you gotta keep it sexy. Hips and nips, otherwise I'm not eating". Then the girl and her friends blamed him to force himself on the mob bosses wife, so the mob took him and broke his legs.

Its a pretty compelling story. He actually makes a few appearances after all of that happens. Since the mob broke his legs, the state of Pennsylvania supplies him with a pretty sweet exoskeleton, which he later dances his ass off in. And after that, onces his legs heal up, he gets hunted by the girl's friends once they decide to become human hunters.

Rickety cricket lives a pretty wild life.

You know what bothers me? Are the colors of fittings in peoples engine bays, and aftermarket parts. I like everything to be uniform, not random red, blue and purple anodized fittings... anyone else feel that way, or is it just me??

Some people feel the same way and have a uniform color scheme, but that sometimes looks like crap. Too much red or blue or whatever.

I love engine bays with many colors because it's so uncoordinated it works, just like how some scenery is so ugly it's beautiful.

Yeah. I didn't think I blew it until I went to leave.

I started the car and it knocked for a few seconds like usual. (Car always took about 5 seconds to build up Oil Pressure, so during this time it made some fun noises.) Then as I drove home it kept knocking, and by the time I got home the knock was really loud, so loud that I could hear it over my radio.

To be honest, I'm too stupid to feel the difference between a torquey motor and a non-torquey motor.

Did you bother to check if it was low on Oil? LOL. I know how you love to neglect those things. Could just be a bad oil pump. NEVER KNOW.

I changed the oil Last Saturday, and I always fill it just a tad high (Usually right below the H mark on the dipstick) incase it burns a touch of oil. I've only driven about 300 miles since then, so I know it shouldn't be too low.

Regardless, I'm not doing anything with this motor, and it looks like the car's going up for sale in the next week or two.

You have to look at it from my perspective.

I'm 19 years old, and I have a full time job and I'm a full time student.

At my job I'm a Project Manager/Engineering Designer. I work 40 to 50 hours a week in a high stress environment doing a job more suited to someone that's 10 years older than I am. (Why I sleep like poop these days.)

I go to school for free, because of how well I did in high school. I have to maintain a 3.0 GPA or else I lose my grant money, and I really should be maintaining something like a 3.5 GPA so I can continue on with my Degree for free.

This leaves me with like Zero free time 9-10 months out of the year, and when I'm not in school my job is exhausting enough.

I don't have time to be building a car, nor is it a higher priority than school.

I also need to get my social life back in order, because I don't really have any friends outside of car meets and stuff because I'm so busy all the time.

Yeah, some people say I'm lazy, but I'm not. Usually, I'm just too tired and too Mentally and Physically drained to work on cars after I'm done all of the stuff I NEED to do.

I don't NEED to build a car. I WANT to build a car.

Needs supersede wants.

It's not really a beater, but we use it as such.

It's got 220k+ miles on it, and was originally owned by my Grandfather, so it's a family heirloom of sorts. It's also not "My" car, though I'm free to use it any time.

It had the classic Honda rust, so my dad fixed it like 3 years ago but then it rusted back through.

A torquey car is the type of car that when you flip or mash the gas, the car kinda just TAKES off, or breaks loose, most high end V6's and almost all V8's...like Seans Mustang.. LOL.

You would most certainly notice your eyes in the back of your head when you mashed the gas in a torquey motor.

soooo let me sum this up...u bought the 240 to eventually build. Then u got the car after all the aggravation u went through to get it and then started to pray for it to blow so you could swap it. It blows and now ur selling it? then when people tell you to keep the car and try to give you motivation you come at them like your life is so much hectic then theres is and they dont understand and you claim u need to get your socail life back other then having car friends? im pretty sure thats a swift kick in the nuts for the kids that all hung around u in the car scene, your pretty much saying there not worth your time since u have a blown up car. Really wish you wouldnt of dustin cause for one im one that always had faith in you and even said it to your brother when he didn himself. I for one know what happen to you fro and why u went off the wrong path which is dumb but i rather not address that online. Goodluck with selling the car wish you would of kept the thing and actually made an event but you should really think twice about comments you say toward guys that have been there for you (not saying me personally) but the guys that always hung out with u at drift events and meets, you know your car firends. I work 44 hours a week now,closing most nights of the week.

I handle problems and take care of issues that should be taken care of by mgmt.

I also go to school full time and my car is not even running right now.

I maintain a large social life when i can afterwork and such

But i still make sure everything else that is more important is done first before my car,cars arent built in a few months,it takes time and patience.

They are pretty stout surprisingly, alot of the older turbo cars didn't have intercoolers or heck a radiator look at the beetle. Flat 4 engine no water cooling system just a turbine they'd just keep going. Top picture with the red manifold has a duel stage injector system, not many people run that setup.

I took my first 240 off road all the time though.

Yeah but what was the height at the frame rails? (Or lowest point of the car)

Measuring ride height at the fender is pointless because it doesn't tell anything about ground clearance.

haha its a subie we don't slam like v dubs we'd have to modify our axles to do so or be bagged.. I had great clearance didn't scrap much, I passed that stage in life along time ago with my honda lol..

subaru does help with rally builds but only in rally america. The WRC still doesn't allow flat engines only inlines.. :(

Kenny from the block new ford fiesta he's still getting use to it, here are some specs-

That being said,

It's still a Ford that I can't buy in America so I'm angry.

Gymkhana 3 Will be rad though.

I heard that Ken Block is going to Use WRX's and STi's in place of cones.

you can buy the fiesta here in the states it just came out, its no awd monster like this but I heard its a nice ride and gets 40mpg woot! Ford has a great rally history can't forget the ford escort cosworth that was beast in its day damn shame in america all we know about ford is the mustang :(

Highly disagree. I got the Tom Tom GPS app for free, instead of paying $49.99 for it.

Why not JB a phone, then try it, instead of just saying it sucks.

There are nothing but pro's from Jailbreaking - Free Paid Apps, Customize the iPhone in more ways than you could before, besides it being LEGAL now.

You're right, I haven't ever jail broken an iPhone but I based that decision on my experience with using other people's jail broken iPhone. When I had my 3G it always ran like poop so I knew that jail breaking it would just make it run worse.

Also, if I want an app then I'll just buy it. I'm not big on stealing things. Then again, I've only ever had like 5 apps over 2 iPhones because I prefer to use the proper device for the task.

And, I drove the gymkhana course at nopi last weekend and that was enough to confirm to me that I wouldn't enjoy driving auto-x.

Oh, and another reason I dislike auto-x is because I dislike anyone telling me what I can and can't do to my car. Seems like at least once a week someone says "I can't do xxxx to my car because I'll get kicked out of my class."
