The show was awesome this year. Huge attendance, lots of new parts out with great deals. Got to see some of the best cars on the east coast and some from even further. Its the weekend i wait for all year and even though there are a few retarded cars there there are 100's of amazing ones. There's nowhere else you can go stand in a parking lot and watch 100's of modded vw's drive by all night into the morning. It was a great time, shame if you missed it :-p

show me a meet that has anywhere near the amount AND caliber of cars seen at h2o. ive been to alot of meets, and have seen alot of cool cars, but when you ahve a gathering that draws cars from as far south as florida, as far north as quebec you cant really compare it to a local meet. And cars ":driving around" at meets is not like h2o haha. You can sit on the sidewalk literally from dinner time to 2 in the morning and watch some of the best vw's around drive up and down the strip.

Granted Vw's are not your thing then this show is not necessarily your thing, but if you have any appreciation for cars, and have been there you will enjoy it.

most people rock the same bumpers etc... because most of us dont like body kits w/ the exception of maybe votex and otteniger kits.. if anything the body is kept clean getting rid of badges, rear wipers if wanted.... etc. Wheels, no not everyone has RSs. please thats just silly. alot may like RSs and ALOT do have them but there are alot with schmidts, borbets, etc. and other companies too including mercedes, porsche and bentley wheels.

I think most of the odd mods you see (racks, rusted body parts, checkered parts, etc) come from the MK1 rabbits and MK2 Golfs/Jettas, that people seem to try to carry over onto the later generations. I believe the reason people did it on the earlier ones, was because there isn't that much aftermarket support as opposed to the newer ones. I've seen widened steelies, a rusted hood and a rack on a MKV R32, and I thought it looked retarded.

To be honest, no one turned it into a honda VW thing until Clean peon came in and said ****. He asked a question, had it answered, and then had a smart alec remark.

I'd still rather have a Honda than a VW, even though both brands have a fair share of retards behind them, the average VW owner is far and beyond. That and Hondas are more reliable too.

The vehicles are just mediums of self expression and entertainment. Not all are deserving of respect, but the ones that are no one says **** about. See well you classified the people as "VW owners" therefore you are taking the culture as a whole. And you can't tell me you've never done stupid **** to get a reaction out of people. Nah, it is annoying. Every car scene has the same trends. Go to H20, youll see why we love it. Ill be the first to admit, there is some dumbass people in the VW scene, but the chill, cool, relaxed ones, out weigh them.
