It was Beyond Redline's car. From what i've heard it was a fuel line failure on the turbo side of the engine....

lol nah the warranty doesnt count when its got 466 HP.


but yeah as he said, beyond redlines car, i heard it was a fuel line as well. but the owner will be releasing an official press release sometime soon.

eh even with a handheld one there's only so much you can do against gas, speaking of which did you guys ever do the group buy of those fire extinguishers, that was around the time I wrecked the sti so I kinda dropped off tst for a few weeks then

well yeah depends how fast you can get to the fire... if it started small and he got to it quick, its possible it could have been put out without any major damage... especially if he had a system installed and it was just pulling a lever for full suppression. but the on track fire truck will never get there fast enough to save a car.
i was just curious cause the fire thing freaks me out on my cars since they've got a lot of sweat and money into them that insurance would not recover for me.

extreme psi did start carrying the halon extinguishers and their pricing (picked up) was definitely better than the other options out there, so hit them up. they're in my area so maybe coordinate it with a meet out this way one day.
