Ill have to take some next time with my phone like i did with that one, lost my digital. But yeah i will NEVER work on it again. I put a skid plate on, 4 hours later it was finally 100% lol

Never had a problem like that with the mopar :)

No its crazy, ill take a picture of it. Its not your average under motor skid plate, it goes like almost halfway down the drivers doors (underneath the car) has 5 mounting points, two of which you have to "make" yourself. I wouldn't call it worthless, much rather a investment

No offense to those that show...just not my bag.

Besides, anyone who shows their car will quickly convert after a ride in a well sprung car on R-comps. You get over the cone scuffs pretty quickly :)

Honestly, VW's have so many stand out cars (IMO), in all of the Marks, but just to me, AWD, Sexy, and so nice inside, and power, its perfect. AGAIN, thats my opinion

Crappy pic for now, get better ones tomorrow...I know I should slam it, but it won't happen, it's a DD and I don't want to feel all the bumps and s*** :) (my STi is dropped and the ride is bumpy as hell)

Bought the car about 2 years ago from an older woman who smoked....damn woman burnt holes in the seats and black ash was all over the headliner...I am a clean freak and after 2 months of heavy shampooing and vacuuming, minus the burn holes you can't tell someone smoked in it before. I just rolled 55,000.

Mods aren't crazy as its a daily driver and I don't really care too much.

- 20% tint

- 18" R32 Wheels wrapped in Kuhmo AST's

- LED Taillight Bulbs (cops said the oems were "dim" so yeah...)

Rusty Rado? That sucks. Do you need to cut and weld, or is it repairable surface rust? My point being I've got some good links for parts and if you're fixing that and painting you should also pop your hatch window and treat that too. Unless your rado was garaged it probably has some hidden rust under the seal.

Yeah Ill need to cut and weld. Ive already got plenty of spare body panels and I have a TT gas door to go in place of the rusty portion. It is currenty garaged but it was neglected most of its life by the previous owner.

i dont like doing that but after crashing the gti and looking into how much i spent i just couldnt do that again at this time so i got this car only because he had all the paper work on it for everything that was done iv called the shops where the work was done and its all on point.. Price was great and the mods are all fresh.. its a APR stage 3+ with some other goodies car runs really strong and the tune is amazing

i dont like doing that but after crashing the gti and looking into how much i spent i just couldnt do that again at this time so i got this car only because he had all the paper work on it for everything that was done iv called the shops where the work was done and its all on point.. Price was great and the mods are all fresh.. its a APR stage 3+ with some other goodies car runs really strong and the tune is amazing

It runs a "10SecS4" tune, and I'd keep an eye out on the A/F and timing as Marc has been known to have issues. Unless Ben changed the ECU in the past week...

i know the tune is a 10SecS4 tune but has been played with and when i checked it could use a little more fuel top end but its nothing to worry about

Yeah, I know Adam did some lemmi work with that tune, but that is merely a patch.

You have plenty of injector to add fuel, your IDC should ony be around 65 percent with those 60#'s. Marcs tune has had positive and negative feedback. I've seen some guys trap 124 on his tune and I've seen some guys trap 115 on his tune, seems to be what tune he decides to give you.

I'm in West Chester. There's a couple pics of my car on page 4 of this thread. The Cactus Green one. Good luck fitting fogs. If I remember correctly, fogs and stock grills have been done with a front mount. Definitely not easy. I have the ER side mounts, so it's not something I never had to worry about.

if it takes me more the 1 hour to get it to work ill just make some custom mesh and make grills to hide the pipes and or PC them at bone head

Thanks, I am really happy with it for my needs of living out in the country. Yeah it was funny, I went out with the thought of getting an evo 9 or 10, sti, or a 05'ish s4 and I came home with a v8 Touareg. I really regret not further looking at s4's, but I got a steal on the VW. I am planning on doing exhaust work to the touareg this spring. I am probably going to get rid of the secondary cats, change from H to X pipe and do some sort of magnaflow set up.

haha i was just looking at k04's on fourtitude...im thinkin about it now
ans thanks...havent really worked in this tight of a space before...my 240 was great to work on...i could fit in the engine bay with the motor..we shall see how it goes

Anybody know much about vaccum lines on 1.8t? I'm diagnosing a boost leak right now and might have some questions for you. I know I searched on vortex but needed someone close in case i want a second opinion. I might just do the whole delete of the extra systems and lines.

Get a delete file and delete them all including PCV and all. send me a PM if you have questions. if you have a boost leak though it's likely an actual boost leak or diverter valve.

Whats the issue? Dont delete them unless your going all out and have hookups on inspections.

my VDO gauge only reads 10psi with stage 2+ Unitronics, still pulls strong but definitely hesitates, sometimes it stalls when i take it up to redline. I made a pressure tester and can hear the leaks but havent gotten a chance to find where it is yet.

my S4 first time ever on a dyno mind u the car was running on 3 bad coil packs and a massive boost leak on the throttle body thats it the mist that u can see shooting out in the engine bay http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LwBQaHTES

When I first bought the car. I got stupid and tried to start to paint the car myself. The front and rear bumbers, grille and gas tank door are now black. I will be getting it professionally done soon, as soon as i can find a good price. Gotta a few things planned, But I'll put all that in the build thread.

New S4 badges

PA Expeditionary Forces Veteran license plate

Future Modifications:
RS4 turbo upgrade, APR intercooler and piping, wheels, etc. My daily driver, we'll see how crazy we can get it. Plus, I'm still learning the Euro platform.

20th looks real good..

RS4 turbos are pretty reliable on the S4 setup to make 450-500 AWHP depending how you drive it and as long as you do the supporting mods. And the cars run smooth still, nothing like a four cylinder with turbo lag.. If you want a ride in an RS4 ko4 S4 let me know when I have this one back together and before it goes back to Pittsburgh.

Also, if you can deal with staying away from APR you can save some money and get some more performance.

what do you suggest aside from APR? I want to start doing more **** to the s4 soom, but it's tough b/c its the DD ya know
Plus I like the look of those bronze rota's on that golf...always loved a blue car with bronze wheels
