radio not working

after a road trip to okemo, my radio wouldn't turn on the following day. i was confused because the buttons were still illuminated. none of the buttons would work. i tried checking fuses, they were all fine. i even replaced them just to make sure. the radio still does not work. any ideas?

do you have upgraded speakers? is it just the radio itself that doesn't work, or is no sound coming out of either of the cd/tape/etc?

i just had a problem where my speakers were shorting out. when i took my doorcards off i found that the speaker had fallen out and was just flopping around in the door, hence the short. buttoned everything up as best i could (w/o the spacers) and it is fine now. not sure if this could be your problem or not, but it's something to try?

no, the radio just won't turn on. but the buttons light up when i have my headlights or interior lights on.

i took my whole head unit totally apart and put it back together. i plugged it back in and it works :screwy:
