Yeah, the commuter car show is an embarrassment.. There was one nicely modded truck this year. It was a Ford f150 Harley edition with around 700whp or so.. There was a wrx with sti body parts (but stockish engine), a modded gsx/t, and a supposedly turbo civic..

You should come down to the FSAE though, we need some dedicated members..

I mod my car making money from a research project.. I got a few g's over the summer from that... I also sell stuff online for pocket change.. I'm sure getting a co-op helps a ton too but I haven't even started started my first one (just started sophomore year).. Can't wait though..

My friend in a stock 2006 civic Si was in the commuter show and he might even have placed. The only work done to it was the bondo after he hit a parked car. :)

The "tuner show" always sucks. I never entered my car in the show; that doesn't mean there aren't any tuners on campus.

I'm outta the Drexel area for about a year catching up on credits elsewhere. Anyone know who has either of the 2 M3's on campus. One had a IAFF sticker and sits up by SigEp i think. The other sits down in front of crossings. Pretty sure its dropped a few inches. Plenty of other beautiful cars on campus, doesnt ever seem like anyone who tuned them has them on campus. The few fools who do have modded cars on campus dont know ****. But none I ever talked to are on here.

Never seen a blue STi around... seen a while e92 m3 drive down Chestnut all the time, seen a blue Cobra parked on Walnut and 40th all the time, seen a black MS3 around my block 46th an walnut. But working on Drexel's campus, I've seen some crazy cars like a Lotus, Maybach, Porsches, hell one time I was outside smoking and saw 2 Middle Eastern guys, full beard and turbans (no racist) pull up on Chestnut in a brand spanking new white Aston Martin DB9 I believe. I'd be down for a Ucity meet lol.

Ah - I just transferred here back in September, my old university had no car scene but I've seen a couple of nice cars on Drexels campus (silver sti, black evo, white genesis 2.0, silver frs, white 370, silver 350, etc.).

dont go to drexel but go to USP has some have stated before. Not really a car scene or what id consider one out here for the most part.
Have seen a few nice cars running around and i think the best house pizzeria guy who mentioned something before. I live right around the block, seen an red eg civic hatch parked there, white s13 hatch, and a miata at that location. Havnt seen the eg or 240 in a while and i might assume those are his
But anyways i drive a 2003 gray mazdaspeed protege. Dont ever really drive it, but you guys might see it around

I live just 10min. from the campus in Upper Darby, so I'd be down for a meet if there is one.
