I'd love to go but this week is so busy for me. I know a few friends that are heading up tonight and i probably won't make it. Keep an eye out every once and a while there is a group heading up, you should tag along next time.

something I completely forgot about - do they require fire jackets?

technically, according to NHRA rules, you need a jacket if you're running 10.00-11.99....but atco is a little vague on that. few years back i was running several low 11sec passes and they never said a word....not even about me not having a roll bar in the car which is also required at 11.49 or faster.
