I've been there. I drove around for about 5 months with an expired inspection sticker. Most cops don't even look at them... I only got one ticket.

yeah i drove the probe around for a while w/o a sticker. the thing broke down for a few mins and ofcourse a cop rolls by. Luckily i got it in gear before he could pull over and get out
