Heya, Yeah sorry about the crappy hand written flyer. Too bad you couldn't make it up yesterday. With regard to your stereo, It's either something with the amp or the deck. I've recently replaced both items in another customers car... fyi.

In so far as fixing it up, there isn't much I can do to help except recommend getting either the amp or deck replaced. I would start at the amp, simply because it's the easiest to switch out.


PS, btw: Custom trouble shooting isn't cheap. I wish I got some of that 60 dollar an hour action.

U think Middletown cops are bad, drive through Langhorne with tint, Langhorne cops have nothing better to do then sit at the one gas station and pull people over for tint and exhaust, but I still have it on the car, but if they get you they will make you take it off and prove it to them that you took it off. The one cop showed me what was legal tint on his cop car, and it dosen't even look like the damn windows even had tint on them.

I've found on dark cars, tint looks darker. I only wanted 25% all around, so it's not too dark. Just dark enough. (Of course, it's like 75% or something is the legal in PA...hah. Might as well piss on your window and call it tint)

yea it was a combo of a boost leak and an exhaust leak but no worries i worked for 9 hours straight (i am just now geting to bed 3:10 am) and have it 90% fixed i'll finish up tomarow morn and i should still be at the red robin thing

ok guys bad news i had the thing just about all to gether all i had to do was tighten one more bolt, and as my luck would have it the wrentch stripped so i went out to get another one but by the tim i got back i guess the thread lock dried or sumthing but that bolt wasn't moving (it was moving fine before hand) well to make a long story short the bolt broke and now everything has to come off agian and i have to drillout the broken bolt and re tap it

Did you ever decide what type of managment you were going with? I know you said an S-AFC and a custom ECU flash. Technosquare just released their QR25 ECU. Apparently the 32bit QR25 ECU does the require the use of a daughterboard, so it should be easy for them to make you some custom maps. The only problem is they are on the other side of the country (IIRC).

The more progress you make with your setup the more you will realize that and S-AFC is not going to cut it.

gregs doesnt need to worry sbout the safc for now, that it fine, the car is making a ton of power and he'll need a new clutch before upgrading that stuff, u see in his sig wat his plans are, if its necessary itll be done, the kid knows his ****e, he knows what he is doing and wont cheap-o it either, if it costs him owell. i know him very well and help him do most of the upgrades on his car, rite now we need to get the waste gate put on properly and set everything baack up because i want to hear this bov he has setup, i heard it on the wrx a couple times but id like to see this, the car will be a monster by october coming up

yea i am going to take the problems as they come, i havea lil experience when it comes to making custom maps because my bro had 3 custome maps made for him and i was there trying to learn the process so i have an understanding of what is needed

plus my car should be ready nxt week maybe two at the most. i can't wait to hear the new RFL BOV i put on

I was just wondering how you were going to raise the stock revlimiter, that's all (I wasn't questioning your knowledge). Standalone is always an option! ;) Microtech EMS is gaining some popularity, and it seems to be a well rounded EMS.

Chris, see my post on one of the first three pages, as I wondered the same thing. Not to many people have stand alone in the spec v. Your going to need stand alone or ecu, cams, valve springs, rods, and I bet the stock Spec V crank won't last long at 7500. What was the RTR redlining at? I think 8500 granted thats another stroy but their crank started to crack after a few laps. The only opinion I could see would be to hook up with travis (as I wouldn't recommend) and get the SR crank in the qr block.

The qr just wasn't made to rev high but good luck with hit.
