So how do you become a member? and what involved in staying a member?

$75 or so for the year. Pay your annual dues and well, you are a member. I think its worth it now since registration fees for a weekend pass and to run in philly region have gone up to $55 ($35 to race for members).

I think I am going to try and make this one. Been a while since I ran in SJR.

If the birthday is later in the day you may be fine, when it's not raining slowing everything down we usually get you out by 3 or so. Hell we could even set you up to work first and third heat regardless of your class and then if you need to leave during your 4th heat of driving you can get out even earlier :)

I will be there in the Evo. Look out cones!!

Be prepared for fun :)

So how do you become a member? and what involved in staying a member?

You don't need to be a member to come check it out, you can just preregister, arrive and pay the $50 non member registration fee, and then you'll be hooked and you'll get a $15 discount on becoming an SCCA member so that all events after that will be $35.

I think I am going to try and make this one. Been a while since I ran in SJR.

Come on out brother, I'd love to have some help representing the SVT name properly :)

Probably right around a half an hour, go to this link, click get directions, and then just dump in your address and it will give you the exact time :)

You're in different classes now though so you can just use that as your excuse when he stomps your times into the dirt

Rich, you can ride shotgun for a run or two....I wouldn't mind taking your car out on an instructor run :)

All Hyundai's are in H Stock (HS) and your Genesis should be fairly competitive there as the national winning car in that class is the NA Mini Cooper.

Sounds good to me. I think my car should do pretty good. Its got a really wide stance and decent power.

The timing issue was mainly due to the fact that we found out the laptop battery is shot the hard way, I'll be bringing an uninterruptable power supply to the next event so that we don't have that happen again when refilling the generator or if it hiccups.

Even though I couldn't get my driving dialed in which was frustrating, I had a great time as always. Thanks to all that came out and it's good to see that you guys all had a blast :)

Got a few pictures done last night of the fast cars

That will happen...a lot. SM is Paxed like a mofo. Fun thing with stock class, you can put on some seriously sticky tires and pick up a few seconds and stay in your class! So there are positives and negatives. Makes the stock class kind of appealing for budget reasons.

Got a few pictures done last night of the fast cars ..but my car wasn't there...j/k. There was a pretty good turnout this event. I'm kinda sad I missed it.

I just set up registration for the next event. I'll start a new thread for it.

For the lazy folks, here it is (https://axwaresystems.com/axorm/calendar_main.php?viewevent=724&selectclubid=15&curmonthindex=7&curyearindex=3).
