First, I want to thank all of you who responded on what to do first to the WRX. Now, I am looking to put on new sway bars and endlinks front and rear. Will the STI kits fit my WRX if I am going to replace both the sway bars and the endlinks at the same time?
Please let me know what you all think...
Thanks again!!!

i would not recommend running anything spec'd for STi on your WRX or vice versa. most companies have made adjustments based on the different suspension setups of each.
i think a set of matched sway bars is usually the best bet as long as the rear is adjustable. there a 2 sets I think are the best, the hotchkis tuning comp. 25mm f/r set with the rear bar being adjustable from 23-25mm and the whiteline 24mm f/r set with the rear bar adjustable from 22-24mm. the adjustability allows you tune for understeer, neutral, and oversteer depending on your preference and road/track conditions.
the only difference between the two is that the hotchkis comes with the HD mounts included whereas the whiteline's are sold separate. you will also need to purchase endlinks for the whiteline as I don't think they are included either.

I just picked up a front and rear STi strut bar, dave at oakos.com said they will work with no problems. We will see how this goes, next on my list of Xmas presents to myself will rear links, front/rear swaybars. Im not a track person so I'm not going all crazy with this stuff. I'm sure you will notice a big difference with what you have chosen to replace.

I have read somewhere, I believe it is WRXFanatics.com when you stiffen up your frame (sway and strut bara),change out the links etc you might run a chance of tearing up your tranny mounts as well as engine mounts? I'm going to do some searching and see what I can find. We may want to make this a sticky
Nope, totally wrong. It had to do with tearing up the transmission after installing
stronger tranny and engine mounts. oopsy

I was under the impression that STi SWAY bars were different, but the STRUT bars were the same.

I would think so. The strut towers are the same on a WRX as on a STi. I don't see how you would need a different bar.

I believe it says "sway" in the title. I don't think the sway bars are compatible.

Scroll down to the sway bars, you'll see 2 options: 1 STi and 1 WRX version.

i could be wrong but, 04-05 wrxs have the same swaybars. I know the 02-03s are way different.
P.S. mike I found out what my noise was from the rear, the sawy bar didnt fit my car either. theres a difference between the 03-04. I sold it to julie.

I don't think any suspension parts, except for the strut tops, are different from 02+.
That bar came off an 04 WRX.;)

I just installed the STi Strut bars, they fit perfectly.
