On this project, along with the customer, we decided it was time to get creative and do something a little different in terms of S2000 forced induction. The manifold is all hand made and laid out so that runners 1 and 4 spool one turbo as 2 and 3 spool the other. Two Garrett GT28RS turbos utilizing .63 a/r t3 housings were used along with two Tial 38mm wastegates. The air feeds through 2.5" polished aluminum piping that attatches to a custom V-mount intercooler and blows off using a Tial 50mm unit. The exhaust is sent through dual stainless steel 2.5" downpipes to full 2.5" cutom stainless steel exhaust finally exiting out Burns mufflers. Precision 880cc injectors and a 3 bar map sensor were paired with AEM EMS to take care of the air/fuel levels. Finally the car was sent off to Evans Tuning where the car was dyno tuned producing 475whp and 320wtq at 15psi and on 93 octane gas. At this point the kit has much more potential but the customer only wanted this much power for now. Here is the link to the tuners site with more info on that: http://forums.evans-tuning.com/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=5532

That's a bit rediculous. There's so much room in that engine bay. Makes me wonder why I haven't seen these things before.

+100 for originality and fabbing! I do have to question the efficiency of adding all that weight (2 turbos, piping, etc..) into the engine bay though. Probably added a good 200 lbs easy.
And must be a sick tune, thats crazy number out of a stock 2.2 I4.

a hard top tow hook/ plug and you are definitely mag worthy...
can't wait to see this in time attack or road racing action.
I love the flat torque curve!
what rear are you using?

Not really feeling the twin turbo thing, but the fabrication in its own is sick. Loving the RX7 style intercooler too.

still, imo they should have just stroked the motor first, then could have just used on slightly larger turbo for more top end, and still have improved low end torque, thanks to the increased stroke, without having to worry about using 2 turbos and the complicated plumbing runs. And you'd probably have a buttload more torque available as an end result, plus the increased confidence of a built bottom end.
This is definitley one of those "because its never been done before" projects, as opposed to one of the "because this is the best way to do it" projects...

as far as I know, the power it made was w/out Vtec.
Still a nice build from Craig and Matt

really? but how? did they just disable vtec, or were they using [Toda, iirc] vtec-killer cams --which would really be more of a benefit than a detractor.

Pretty cool setup, however overkill for a 4 cylinder.
