Want to do Something Fun for my girls Birthday....TST help me out!!!

Alright guys so my girlfriends birthday is coming up July 24th and want to do something fun and different for her and with her...I know she doesnt care what we do just as long as we are together, she mentioned having her mom and family invovled but she lives 1 hour 20 mins away and i was thinking of doing something around philly.... Her brother is in Qtar and her Dad is in Colorado for military also, and her sister in law just moved out....

I got her a buncho presents already so that part of the deal is covered big time haha :):eek:

I just want to take her out or do something she will remember and fun and different i had a few ideas but i know some outside help is what i need....

Ideas:

1.Spirit of Philadelphia Dinner Cruise

2.Philadelphia Phillies Game-try to get her birthday on the board or something...

3.Taking her and ma dukes out to a nice restraunt either in the city or KOP area...(shoot me some ideas/suggestion i have a couple already)

4. Take her up to NYC for the night *kinda pricey considering the gifts i got her*


Idk im really drawing a blank i want to do something fun and memorable but only come up with the usual things....

if you book now, and on hotels.com u can get extremely cheap hotels in AC, the economy and all that **** you know. me and my friend got a 400 dollar room at harrahs for 80 bucks. if thats not your thing the cruise sounds cool, maybe dinner down the city. 500 bucks though on gifts? i hope you atleast get to piitb.

The cruise sounds like a really nice idea or something similar to a once in a lifetime event such as a balloon ride or helicopter tour. Another option would be doing something you know that she would enjoy even if you may not be interested in it (ex take her out dancing or something). The best gift I ever got from a boyfriend was a romantic evening where the entire night was spent doing things I wanted to do.

Thing is she hasnt really told me what she wants to do, she said whatever as long as we are together, she is not picky, i just want to do something special ya know....she said she just wants to be around the people she cares about but her family is all spread out from the military and only her momma is around at the moment.....

Taking her out dancing would be fun, she loves that but taking my girl to a club for her birthday just doesnt seem like the nicest thing to do haha, thats why im trying to find out what kind of dancing is offered on the Spirit of Philadelphia cruise....If its club music i thinkt thats the winner....

take a bus trip to NYC for the day, you come home whenever you want, they stop every hour almost until i think 11pm is the last bus home. They go up daily and its $86/ ticket....not bad, i took my gf up last summer and we loved it. I'm going to take her up there this winter and propose to her in Central Park, because she loved it there. GOD I HOPE SHE DOESN'T READ THIS SOMEHOW LOL

I got her a heart gold diamond necklace at Gordon Jewlers, Uggs, and Bare Ecesntials make up if you know anything about that make up its freaking expensive as ****....

I still gotta look up the carridge ride and heli ride prices i just got home. the spirit of philly thing is not bad for dinner and dance its like 63 a person so like i said thats my numbero uno so far.....

Another suggestion that would not cost you more money and goes with the dancing idea: make a cd of slow songs that make you think of her, play the cd for her and while the music is playing dance with her. It will sweep her off her feet and mean more to her than you just taking her somewhere nice.

Dave Matthews Band is playing Hershey Park on 7/24. You can get seats close to the stage for a few hundred a pop (and probably lower as the concert gets closer). Not sure if you are DMB fans, but for those who are, I've heard the concerts are really something else.

Spirit of Philly was a lot of fun! ours was a three hour cruise, food was really good, and fancy. There was dancing, drinks, site seeing, and all around good fun. the waiters/waitresses all did different singing performances, and stuff too.
