What up fella's...

On my way in to work this morning, about half way there, when trying to gun it for a light, in 1st gear,
the car just freaking stopped. Like a hit a wall literally. Luckily i had my seatbelt on. My EPC and TractionControl lights came on. the idle was choppy, although steady. But the pedal was pretty much useless...I basically had to idle across traffic and pull over....
Using my V-checker, i got 17743 P1335 Engine Torque Monitoring 2: value above upper control limit

I couldn't have been going more than 25mph, i was gunning from a stop almost

Took a look around the engine, nothing
restarted...both lights went off, idle fine. throttle fine..i went on my way to work. Stayed off the pedal though

Looking around on the other forums hasn't really resulted in quality answers for this cell...

Any gurus out there have any information on this? is it something i should be concerned with?

I misread the thread as vag guru.. not V.A.G...

any mods done? i've had something similar happen, when it happened to me it was a quick boost spike (limp mode) and then a coil pack hiccuped... coil pack could be on it's way out.

Also we need more info... you have a 1.8t 225 TT? mods, anything else may be a factor (bov intake etc)

isnt it usually the MAF if epc light comes on.. shouldnt be rough though .. hmm.. so im still kinda betting on the coil

could be MAF, i don't know i haven't run a MAF in a LONG time... i kept having problems with runnign it. so i ditched it.

interesting, I had one maf go a long time ago. wouldn't have noticed unless I had my boost gauge showing limp mode (5psi). It was replaced under warranty though.

OP mods? what was boost gauge showing if you have one?

can't find anything for that specific code, but here is the next closest code in wiki ross tech...no idea if it will help or not

ha, wow guys. thanks for the replies...So far my research on it has been extremely all over the place. Ppl think it's everything from from overboosting, to leaks in wastegate hose, to boost leaks, to Chip software coding, to MAF's, to Coolant sensor, to Intake Temp sensor...pretty much everything ...

I have a 225 TT. Only engine mods are, all silicon tubing, P-Flow intake, APEX'i AVC-R & AFC Select, Custom Charge pipe, FMIC, R1 Dv, DV relocation, N249 Delete, catch can...

Majority of sensors have been replaced recently, coolant temp, MAf, O2, Timing belt, TStat, Plugs and Coils as well...

I'm not really sure i buy that it's any of those sensors. I'm gonna hit my audi tech friend up to see what he thinks...
