:iagree:

..whenever my comp starts runnin a lil slow, i open up the task manager, look under processes.. here ill do it right now,,,, well well well, according to my processes, (even though i hav ONE window for firefox open for tst), it says that i have 9!! processes open totalling about 68,000 K in memory usage.. not to mention the other 49 processes that take up memory..

1.5 was specifically designed to have a smaller footprint. you either have 9358340985 tabs open, something else running, or LOTS/heavy plug ins.

I concur. It does seem to be a hog, but I never close the FF window, I just usually let it is and use the tab feature. BUT with alot of RAM you don't notice it being a hog. It's only a memory hog.

I agree, I've got a gig of ram and virtual memory disabled, runs smooth as butter. :)
