WHOOPS, sorry, i didn't read into it. BUT i need them for MY car, can you give me a link to them for wrx motors, or are the mounts the same??
OK, i'm a bit flustered and confused today. They do say wrx, but say 5 or 6 speed. WHICH confuses me bc i didn;t know they made a 6 speed wrx AND i dunno if that means i can use it for an automatic bc of the tranny mounts. I'm not too familar with that portion of the vehicle.
MAN, for the 1st time in my life i feel like a n00b

the trans mount for the 4EAT is different than the 5MT or 6MT.
the engine mounts are the same.
to teh best of my knowledge, the only upgraded mounts for the wrx are the STi/group N ones, and the cusco ones. for a street driven car i suggest STi.
SPT is essentially subaru's way of seling STi parts in the U.S.
I ot my STi mounts from Z1 - best price i found, and GREAT customer service.

i'll be installing mine quite soon so if you get yours soon too and want to do them at the same time, or if you get them later and want some help let me know. i read up on the install at www.scoobymods.com and apparently they do make a noticeable improvement. i hear the cusco ones are just balls to the wall crazy for a daily driven car.
if i remember what matt said correctly, i'd also look into kartboy exhaust hangers, they are stiffer and will hold your exhaust more firmly in place... either the stock length ones or the long style to aid in clearance. if you are indeed still having rubbing issues then wrapping the exhaust might help to pad the contact area.

i have the sti "group n" mounts..wow what a complete difference!!! no more shaking when you shut the car off..and when you rev it, it barely moves

US STIs have the same durometer mounts as WRXs and all other Subies. Only the "group N" mounts are upgraded as those only come on Spec Cs and RS (not 2.5 RS, real STI RS).
I have them and they will give you more cabin vibration at idle. For a WRX, I wouldn't worry about them until over 300whp. They really aren't that important until your car is able to make some serious torque to keep that engine where it should be, not slapping off of the hood on hard romps.

i NEED them, BADLY. I still don't know the answer to my tranny question tho. I assumed they'd be different and just can't seem to find them. I do think i'm gonna go w/cusco tho. I read about the "group n's" and i heard they take the vibration off the motor/drivetrain and put it into the car causing interior vibrations. All i know is everytime i stop at a light, i need to put my car in neutral so my tranny doesn't rattle my exhaust off the car :)

Mounts aren't going to stop your exhaust from banging into your rear diff. This isn't a problem caused by you loosely mounted tranny, but your loosely mounted/poor fitting exhaust.
http://www.allwheelengineering.com/basket/catalog.cgi?query_net_id=kartboy&query_class=KB-011
Is what you need, not engine/tranny mounts.
Look at your exhaust as you may need the long mounts to lower your exhaust to give more clearance around the rear diff. This is where most exhaust rattle as it has the least clearance and most exhaust movement.

julie, what you're not saying here is that your exhaust is rattling and thats the problem you are tryign to address. i told matt this and i'll say it again... i dont think any mounts are going to help with that. and i am positive you wiull be quite unhappy with the cusco ones unless you want to turn your car into one huge 3000 pound vibrator. wait a second...
like i said above, you should look into kartboy exhaust hangers, probably the long ones to give your exhaust a bit more clearance. if that doesnt work then you should talk to injen about their fitment issues.

Its NOT a problem w/the exhuast mounts, its vibrating right at the front, AND the problem started b4 the exhaust, when my pedals violently vibrated. I appreciate everyone's concern on a misdiagnosis but i'm probably just not putting it into words correctly. When people actually see/hear/feel whats happening, they all agree. But i thank you anyway. NOW...what about my damn auto trans....do they not make aftermarket mounts for us 1 handed 1 footed drivers??

OK, I'll buy these hangers. BUT i still would like motor mounts if anyone has any idea of my auto trans problem.
side note: motor mounts are a common issue on '02 WRXs.

hmm... do you know exactly what is vibrating/hitting? either way thats not right, so maybe the best solution would be to get replacement stock parts if something of yours has gone bad. i mean of course the motor mounts would be a good performance upgrade but maybe just some super cheap stock mounts would fix your problem and not compromise any ride comfort.
but yeah if you can give more details on where exactly its making contact that would help.

I think mine are starting to go, they creak every time I start from a stop. I just hit 90K miles.

I have a set of 03wrx(17,000 miles) motor mounts free of charge if you want them. They came on my motor but I swapped them out for my group N mounts.
